west ham fans have to be some of the worst fans in world football, wanted Bilic sacked as they were in the relegation zone fair enough. Then moyes came in and did what he was hired to do - avoid relegation yet their still moaning. They moaned when he was hired, they even moaned when they won against Chelsea at home saying he should have played more attacking lol.

It's amazing how high an expectation the west ham fans have of the players and the results they 'should be getting' they're a mid table club and that's all they will ever be and would have been in the championship if it wasn't for moyes. Perfect example was the other day, they set out defensively and it worked up until the 51st minute when they conceded at a corner. He then brought on Lanzini (just back from injury) for a defensive midfielder and he set up a goal 4 minutes after he came on, any fans in the world would give credit where it is due but not west hams fans. 'why didn't he start' 'we should be attacking more' was brilliant to see twitter when arsenal then proceeded to 3 goals in 4 minutes when they went a bit more attacking haha.

Then moyes came out and said the young CB should be doing better and their fans took another level of rage for saying the truth. It's almost like anything moyes does is scrutinised by their fans and find it strange why he took the job in the first place ( I guess his reputation is a bit better for keeping them up). I don't rate moyes that much tbh but I find it quite amazing that a small club like them have such high expectations, loads of players say the same thing they don't have realistic expectations even when they moved into their new stadium they were still complaining. Hurting their game, isn't the free flowing, fluid attacking we have seen this season.

 

How bad a choice for the holding role (and captain) is Xhaka? To play there you need to be composed and a good passer and hard but disciplined, but he's none of these things, constantly pinging passes out of play or to the other team and good for a booking most games. Compare him to the likes of Petit/Vieira/Gilberto Silva who they've had in the past playing there or Matic doing that job against them today and he's nowhere near, probably cost about 30-40m aswell.

 

That Bruno the Brighton right back is still decent, I never realised it was him who played for Valencia years ago until recently. Never noticed him with the beard, always liked him at Valencia as well was a bit of an awkward and weird style player but he done well for them and seemed a good character. He's nearly 38 and still looks in decent shape, 5 year older than Scott Brown would be good to see Broony still capable at that age and lifting 12 in a row

 

Huge result for Brighton. That should keep them up.
