    * mental this has happened.

    Me and missus were talking about some boxer who recently died after a match and discussing how rare it is that happens in the pro world and that's it's as common as a footballer dying on the pitch.

    Then I look up at the news in the pub we were in and see this.

    Sad times, I turn 31 this year, got a newborn due this month. Really makes you think about your own lifestyle choices.Can't imagine the pain to family must feel.

    Just read there that he was actually due to be signing a new four year deal today.

    Apparently Fiorentina have agreed to pay his wages for the four year deal to his family despite him not officially signing it.

    Not sure about this life time contract rumour.

    Great gesture by Fiorentina either way.
