The Sinclair of last season ins't missing that. Thought he did OK when he came on. Gave us width on the left and tried to run at them, but he always had two players in his way.

    Tbh, I don't know.

As great as he was, he missed a * load of chances like that last season as well. He scores/scored a lot, but he also missed a lot.

I feel sorry for him a bit, he's clearly low in confidence.
I hope he can return to the levels of last season because he's one of our most effective attacking players.

    Aye, very good.

A still picture doesn’t provide the context of the pace at the time. This ‘simple pass’ everyone is on about wasnt as easy.

    He shoulda buried it

I do feel for him as well but he isn't a kid, he's 28. I know confidence and age doesn't matter much but I'm saying he's experienced this before and is coming in to his peak couple of year's..

His stats are still quite high but he hasn't been confident for most of this season and definitely well before Christmas. The best part of 4/5 month's now overall..

You keep feeling like right it's coming now and it doesn't materialize..

Tbf it wasn’t as easy a pass as that still image would have you believe, but * me he should have scored regardless. That extra touch he took let the defender back in to make a tackle.

It’s entirely a confidence thing, a confident player wouldn’t have taken that extra touch.

And that still there shows Tait about what, 4/5 yard's away to manage a block..

He was nowhere near at 1 point..

Rogic has an easier ‘square pass’ to Dembele when he shot..

    Terrible decision..

I wonder if the racism that has been directed at him has had an effect on him, it cant have helped any.
I also think he's been notorious for dips in for hence why he is with us.

    I don't think so..

He's had abuse since he first came at Tynecastle and was unreal. Always had racial abuse at the Huns and performed as well, even more so..

Even that today at Motherwell. Got a fair bit of stick but earlier on in the season when he dived (in my opinion) in the final against them and we played midweek. Copped untold stick, scored a late penalty and cupped his ears right by those primary school fannies..

He has always had dips and spells out of form history shows, or was unwanted etc but this is a long time to be playing that way. Brendan has tried like * but every so often he's back benched again..

You make some good points to be fair, he did revel in scoring against the manky mob last year when he was getting all sorts of stick.
He's been out of the team for a while now it will probably take him a few games to get back up and running again, however in this team you basically need to play well or someone else will take your place.
Really hope he can get back to what he was because you dont lose that quality over night, however its time for him to step up and show everyone hes not a one trick pony.

Exactly. He has another couple of week's to work on thing's with him no being an international. He has to come back firing after that or it's a write off for the run in..

As you've said, too many options now in the attacking 3 behind the striker to wait around..

I agree, he should be using these internationals to catch Brendans eye and remind him that hes a key player.
I dont think the change in formation is doing him much favours though but if Scott Sinclair is firing on all cylinders then Brendan wont play 3-5-2, its up to him to make himself undroppable.

When we play the 2 inside wingers/attacking mids in a 3-4-2-1 it definitely didn't suit him. Nor did him in a 3-5-2 doing the left wing..

He's beat in that 4-2-3-1 off the left and bursting in with pace centrally almost as a forward and doing damage off the left in space..

Tactics may well be another factor in his poor form..
