Does any one stay there? what are the good parts to buy a place there ,, what are the worst parts, where are the junkie areeas , hun places i can smelll at 5 miles.

All answers will be appreciated as this is going to be a permanent place to live, as in to live by the coast , till my end of days.

I am not a rich guy in buying a house, 2 or 3 bedroom will be fine as my kids and grandchidren can visit.

Depends really, got a few pals from Girvan and I drive through it quite regularly.

There does seem a lot of junkies (so does every town in Ayrshire though :giggle1: )

Would you mind being cut off from getting to a big city?

A crash/bad weather on the A77 and you’re pretty much in fucksville for getting home.

Have you looked at the likes of Maidens/Turnberry further up the road?

Edit: the place everyone seems to retire to on the west coast is west Kilbride/Largs etc
