That’s why he should have started the last game at home against the monkeys. He was absolutely superb all day.

There must be a reason as to why he appears to be the 2nd choice free kick taker, behind Griffiths. You'd think Rogic, one of the best long shots in the squad, would be decent at them. Maybe Ntcham is a baller in training, but just hasn't translated it to a match yet?

That turn and roll with the ball is an amazing technique, mind Tierney did it once. I think big Ntcham is going to be a very skillful player once he gets more experience with the team and has settled down.
His ability to collect the ball in the centre circle and spread snooker shot passes to runners on either wing could be amazing once everyone clicks and understands the can make more ambitious runs and he'll get the ball to them.
He probably will also become our main free kick taker when Griff isn't playing because no one can be that skillful with a moving ball and not be able to hit a static one with time to think about where to place it. Top corner hopefully.

Mind you saying that, Broony can pass the ball like Platini or as someone else said Pirlo, he really has an incredible eye and sense of placing the ball exactly in the forwards run like Sunday. But when it comes to shooting he totally skies it most of the time. It's just strange that you'd think pinpointing a pass would be similar as pinpointing a pass into the top corner. Mind you he is a DM so he hardly gets many chances.

You know Jimmy McGrory only took three penalties for us and he missed two :giggle1:

Aye and McGregor put a cracker in before Rogic took over. It’s like we have no plan on them.

If he learned how to shoot he’d be the complete player.

He’s got a cracking shot on him. He just needs to learn not shoot all the time.

He gets plenty of power on his shots from range but he needs to get them on target a lot more than he does.

If he does, he’s looking at 15 goals a season.

His technique is good but the end results are really erratic. Something he can work on in training though so I don’t imagine it’ll take him too long to sort it.

He does when he has them lined up, his problem is a lot of time he doesn’t and just swings at it. I don’t think the technique and power isn’t there, more the decision making.

Commons and McGregor used to do that as well :56:

I knew that would set you off :56:

Know what I mean but? There’s no way he had a bad shot, just mental decision making to shoot at times. That’s what Ntcham does for me just now.

I’m always glad when he lines it up but, since Rogic and Griffiths have been away we don’t gamble with a long shot often enough for my liking. That goal to win against Motherwell last season? Not one other player in our team would attempt that.

Sometimes just gamble and smash the * thing in the direction of the goal.

    Yeah you’re right.

Ntcham seems to hit about half a dozen long shots every game.

Feels like he hasn’t scored in a while.
