10 in a row or Europe each year

Would supporters take 10 in a row but not to progress in Europe as it seems we are not doing great in this competition. If we went through the motions to gain entry into Europe then did not progress but were dominate in the league then we could maybe be able to play more young promising players into the first team if the promise from the board that we would have a good solid team to pursue Europe after 10 in a row . know some people will say how do we attract players if not in Europe but what big names have we signed over the past seasons with the promise of Europe.
