    i have just had to add 9 different phone numbers to my contact list, just to block them. These 9 numbers are taking turns every 5 mins to call from 7.30am. Started last week 4/5 calls a day but from yesterday literally every 5 mins. They let it ring once or twice. The calls come from Mali, Acension Island, Ghana and a few other rare places. I’ve googled it and if your lucky you get charged $9 per minute but some are set up to look like an 8 hour call. Some people have been hit for up to £300 with no sympathy from service providers. Just a wee heads up and beware before you ring any number back.:50:

    If I don't know the number calling me , I don't answer it.

    If it's important or genuine, they will leave a message of follow it up with a text.

    got caught out with this a few years ago while down in London.
    cost me £30, but a few days later I was delivering next door to vodaphone HQ in Newbury, so went in the front door complaining to all and sundry, eventually they credited me £30 just to get rid of me.

    I do get some calls from, sales or what not. I never answer a call i don't know the number. Always check it online to see where. If someone need to get hold of me they can leave a message or send one... Thats my rule in this crazy time of ours:60:

    Had a few Asian guys calling recently saying I owe money to the citizens advice bureau or some * :giggle1: once you start geein them pelters they’ve got the cheek to argue back, one told me he hoped I died the other day :giggle1:

    There’s a guy that streams himself taking the * out of them, sets up a fake computer then takes control of theirs when they try to get in.
