Could use much of the same to describe Scott Brown in that season before Rodgers came in.

The whole team actually, but for me the midfield 3 of Johansen brown and biton was painful to watch that year. At least broon had an injury, not sure what the other twos excuse was.

immense and I don't give a * who disagrees with me. He might not be the answer but he was composed and threatening at times going forward.

Not immense, he did not bad but bad for goal, had to be brought on if he was sticking with 3. He is good on ball but poor defending, went missing near the and leaving young Hendry time and time again.

To be honest I thought by and large young hendry was doing ok. I thought that aside from the goal biton was taking responsibility. It's all about opinions though isn't it. Ask a 100 people and they will give you a different perspective.

Did you see him for their goal, he turned round and looked at the player who was free in the box, then he turned back round again, made no effort to mark him, it was brutal defending.

I'm not saying he wasn't at fault but I feel he's always being slated when most of the time he tries his best. Aside from the goal I thought he was good.

I think he was .....if Some folks are going to be horrible about him I'm not. In my opinion from the moment he came on he really tried to show some drive.

That's fair enough. Whole team didn't perform well enough today tbh.

He made a couple of very good tackles and brought the ball out from defence, but his defending for their goal just made him look like the converted midfielder he is...so it's hard to have a go at him.

He was playing really well then switches off.

That's the one major thing that lets him down in that position IMO. He switches off and doesn't have the natural defensive awareness.

It's been evident from a few goals we've conceded with him in there.

It’s not his nationality nor his religion. It’s the fact he supports Apartheid.

That's because he isn't a natural defender, and has only played at CB due to injury.

That much was telling how he let Mulumbu have a free reign for his goal.

    Dreadful.

    Yeah, I know.

I think in regards to most other things he does ok. Use of the ball is obviously excellent and he won a fair few headers and challenges yesterday.

At the end of the day though he's not a CB as you say.

He did ball watch a for the Killie goal, but to give them credit it was an excellent little ball and good movement. Worked well by the best two players on the pitch..

He was excellent that aside.. and has proved a really important member of the squad..

I've got a lot more time for Bitton now than I did at the start of the season, didn't think he ever gets a game in our midfield with everybody fit and should have been sold last summer, first time seeing him on the teamsheet as a CB gave me the absolute * fear early in the season, but fair play to him he did better than any of us could have hoped for covering the position and deserves a lot of credit for it.

That said, now that we've signed Hendry and Compper, I don't see him being needed in that capacity anymore and should move on in the summer, yesterday can really be considered a freak appearance, how often do two players get injured during a game and need subbed in the same position, and Jozo wasn't on the bench because ironically we don't want to risk him getting injured on that surface, the perfect shitstorm for him to get on, going forward he's more surplus than he was at the start of the season, he'll struggle to make the bench.
