Tam Rogic

Back doing some sort of training thats a good sign

 

He's played 26 games this season and played in 37 games last season. Not overly worrying imo.

 

Sooner he's back, the better. Look so poor going forward without someone creative in that number 10 role.

 

I don't know without checking, but I have no memory of him being subbed on.

 

Of the 11 league games he's played, he's came on as a sub in 3 of them.

 

I can only count 9?

On my phone though so might be missing something.

 

26 games is all well and good but this is his record in the league so far this season. It's been so stop start.

Missed 9 games due to injury/national team duty.

 

Last season he had 15 league starts out of 38. Missed 14 league games and 3 Scottish Cup games due to injury.

Like I said before, he is a fantastic talent. But we need our creative players to be reliable when it comes to their availability. Without Rogic and Roberts we lack imagination.

Always been a bit Rogic fan. On his day he can be unplayable. A real talent.

The sad reality is that this has been, and for me as things stand, always will be the case with Rogic.

He always seems to be coming back to fitness or getting over an international game with Oz. I feel that his true potential will never be realised due to this.
Ultimately, it comes down to if the management accept that he will miss ten-fifteen games per season, some of them important ones, or do we look elsewhere for someone who can perhaps offer more over the course of 35-40 or more game season. But theres no doubt that Rogic can contribute when he plays.

I think the best thing he could do for both his career and for us, is to retire from international football after the WC with Oz, and sadly i dont see that happening.

Id reluctantly sell him if we could get good money.

 

Without a doubt one of our most important attacking players. For sure our best number 10 when fit IMHO so the sooner he gets back on the field this season the better for us. We have really missed his creativity and eye for a goal when it really matters. His consistent injuries is really frustrating. I wonder does the massive amount of travel he has to do for Australia play a part. But nothing we can do about that other then manage it as well as possible.
Either way it is frustrating as he is not just such an important part of our team it is flat out fun to watch him play.

 

Rogic is my favourite current Celtic player. When the guy is match fit and in full flow he's probably the best player in the country. He makes everything look easy, left and right foot, brilliant passing and scores bifters on the regular. What a player. Just need to find a way of keeping him fit.

And that's a big concern for me Rogic, Paddy, Moussa, Griff all great players but seem to have been plagued with injuries over the past year

 

Its shocking the injury record of some of our players. Jozo Simunovic is 23 years old and cant string 5 games together without being out with another injury, Dembelle is getting just as bad and he's only 22. What are these players going to be like when they hit 30 if they are injured that often when their only this age. Its crazy *, you cant have an injury record like that and go on to bigger things in football.

I can remember Henrik Larsson being injured twice ever, once with a broken leg and the other with a broken jaw. No stupid pulled muscles here, there and everywhere. If it was any other job these * would be punted out the door long ago. Your getting paid top wages, you cant just phone in sick every 5 games. What some people would give to be in their position and they constantly take the * out of it

 

Still think we miss him terribly
