Disappointed in simunovic, thought he was going to be a good player for us but he’s been dreadful for months now.

 

Reality check needed, hearts are well up for this. Unbeaten run had to end at some time. Could be a blessing in disguise and be the kick up the hole that we badly needed

 

mind you the pitch aint that great but still.HH.

 

Our battling qualities have been questionable for a long while now. That first half was not a football match... like kicking a hot square tattie around a tough mudder track! We have been poor but a couple of changes and we can rescue this.

 

It's not even about the massive unbeaten record, it's about the amount of points dropped. We should be further ahead of the competition given the depth of our squad. Some players are just not performing. Simple as. I'd have taken a loss immediately after the record was broken if it meant not drawing every few games. Too many points dropped.

 

Don't know why he changed it up front there's a reason Griffiths wasn't in the team for weeks and you throw him in against hearts, Dembele's our best striker and should be playing our big games.

 

Couple of things:

1. They are putting us under an aerial bombardment.
2. They are picking up knockdowns from this. Especially in the midfield.
3. Forrest is playing well.
4. Passing from the back is very poor. Boyata's distribution for the first one and then for the second one, he puts McGregor into trouble with a hospital pass.
5. This is not a game for Griffiths, we're having to knock it high and it's not sticking.
6. Tierney's been far too advanced, we should have gone to a flat back 4 instead of this 3-4-2-1.
7. Our left side is anonymous going forward.

I'd go with two up, nothing to lose now with Dembele and Edouard, a bit of height and physicality. It's not as if the extra midfielder is doing anything anyway.

All in, it had to end at sometime, so even if it does now then fine, we'll get to the break and the window and the pressure will be on to do some business. I'm not too fussed about losing, and I don't even think that it's us being * bags, these lot are pretty much making this the game of their season. But that * scoring. ugh.

 

Everyone criticising the usual suspects, what about Brown, Tierney, McGregor and Lustig? They can’t hold the ball for more than a couple of seconds and can’t play a simple pass. Our problems today are starting in midfield. We are losing the battle in the and that’s where the pressure is coming and our defence is being found out again.

 

Look on the bright-side, we lose this and Sevco can't be the team to end the run.

 

Have we ever had Edouard AND Dembele on the pitch at same time ?

 

We desperately need to a new back four. Absolutely dreadful half. Time to see what the players are made of.

Shouldn't be a massive surprise, although just how badly we've been dominated by a poor, depleted side definitely is..

We look a state when we dont have the ball and hearts want it much more than we do. I really cant see a turnaround. Hopefully it wakes them up for the rest of the season

 

Armstrong for Ntcham or McGregor...

Dembele for Sinclair

 

I just don't understand why Ajer isn't getting more game time - and yes I know he played midweek.

Boyata and Jozo are playing like amateurs. Ajer would be a better option.
