Can you post the results and a summary of your conclusions once completed?

Thanks guys to everyone who has completed, I really appreciate it, I now have 100 responses from Celtic fans which makes my data much more accurate, I have 400 responses from the other lot though, if you could share with friends and family to increase your representation it will only help me more. Thanks again!

It was only a side note to say how much I enjoyed myself while I visited Celtic Park and how impressed I was with the atmosphere, from a neutral's perspective, even if some of you say the atmosphere wasn't that great.

Have you being in touch with the Wim The Tim Leeds Branch or the Wakey lot ? There are plenty of Celtic clubs in Yorkshire you could actually speak to as well.

I didn't know there was a large following in Yorkshire, but that would be really helpful, thanks!

Thanks again everyone for your support, had some really good figures for responses and feedback. If anyone hasn't done it, or would be able to pass it on to family or friends to even out my figures with the other lot it would be greatly appreciated. https://leeds.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/scottishfootballsurvey

Not yet set in stone, but something along the lines of looking at the historical, religious and political influences behind rivalries, and whether they are still relevant today and if it is a local or global issue. Looking at Glasgow as a case study because it's something i'm really interested in, and also in Spain with the conflict between Barcelona and Real Madrid occurring due to a separatist issue

Sounds good. Keep in mind the leading nature of your questions though - if you ask any group to think about how they differ from a rival group you will inevitable get responses highlighting the perceived differences rather than the similarities. Frame the questions differently and you will get very different answers.

Think you should look at Liverpool/Man Utd rivalry. It's very interesting and involves a lot of social aspects and loss/gain of industry for the working classes of each city.:50:

I did originally think to look at the United and Liverpool rivalry, and yeah it could have been easier for me, I'm a season ticket holder at United myself so getting information would have been relatively simple, but I know that the Glaswegian rivalry is a lot more intense it seems, and it's something i've become more interested in living with a Celtic fan at university, and I felt going local for myself is an easy route

If you haven't had the chance to do it, or would be able to pass it on to family and friends please do! https://leeds.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/scottishfootballsurvey The survey won't be open for much longer and I want to get as many Celtic fans in there as possible. Thanks again for all your support
