People who try and downgrade it are jealous or deluded or both 100 percent mostly huns if it was so easy to do why hasnt it been done before even if that where to be us

Its a remarkable achievement to go 63 games unbeaten in any sport any standard of league is amazing

We have drawn 3 of those 7 games this season that should have been all victory's pretty sure the rest should have been put to bed a lot earlier and came at the end of the calander year midweek etc technically we should have drawn none but who are we to complain

As per the idiots come out to play down our achievement. "Tinpot league, tinpot club, no competition, my nan this my nan that, blah blah blah"

If Man City played Huddersfield 63 times law of averages suggests they would lose at least once in that time. So for us not to lose at all is more of a testament to how good we are and not how bad the opposition is.

    Great achievement!

Surprised with Griffs stats of only 19 goals and being 7 most used player.

After discussing with my hun mate who kept saying it means nothing I did counter him with by stating that the coverage we revive on this is something Sevco can't pay to get

In the late 80's, didn't Steaua Bucharest go over 100 game undefeated? The team that Gheorghe Hagi was part of. That said, it was Communist Romania, and it wasn't unusual for one team to dominate, through fair means or foul. Though they did win a European Cup and made another European Cup Final in that period, so they were no mugs, having everything handed to them.

    Edit -

"Furthermore, from June 1986 to September 1989, Steaua ran a record 104-match undefeated streak in the championship, setting a world record for that time and a European one still standing."

That included 4 National Championships. Bit they also won 3 consecutive National Cups during this period, so am not sure if the Cup results are included in that 104 figure or if they are additional.

    104 games -Steaua Bucharest
    88 games - Lincoln Imps
    63- Sherrif Tiraspol
    63 - Celtic

For Celtic to break the world record they need to remain unbeaten until this time next season which would mean winning another treble this season plus another league cup next season.

The 1st Record was during WW1 so Imo we can't count it surely.

It's irrelevant to our achievements now anyway.

What is worth noting however is during Willie Maley's 62 game unbeaten run there was one instance where we played two games in one day................yes it sounds like another SFA attempt to * us over but its true

League football in Scotland continued as usual during the First World War ( it was only the Scottish Cup that was suspended) so yes we can definitely count it!!
