I've no doubt it will mate, but I always think it's that slightly bit better against the really top teams.

Barca 2012 will very difficult to beat, partly because we won, but it was just a wonderful atmosphere from start to finish. Still think the 125th anniversary was the best Tifo I've seen in football.

People talking about the atmosphere in certain games, I've been to many a European game at Celtic park and had some great nights. There have been better , but for me though, for some reason , the 3-3 game against inter was * incredible , easily one of my favourite European nights.

Could be some special nights waiting for us if we finish 3rd. Teams like AC Milan, Lazio, Arsenal, Marseilles, Dortmund all in the mix. Very exciting. Oh how I’d love to knock Arsenal out.

Aye, the noise when we score is always insane when it’s a real big team like Bayern. Kinda hope Anderlecht give us a game just to make it a bit more special if we win.

Totally agree, not many people bring that night up but it really felt like a Champioms League game that night and the atmosphere was indeed superb, the actual match clearly contributed to that too

Aye it was the best atmosphere I’ve ever experienced, not always against the top teams right enough, the game we won 3-0 against Shaktar Karagandy was unbelievable as well probably 2nd best I’ve been at.

Someone should make a compilation of oppositions players faces during the CL anthem at parkhead.

Same mate! Was only a wee guy but can still remember it no bother.

I can vaguely remember another team coming and bringing union jacks roughly around that time. I thought it was Anderlecht but doubt their fans would've been * like that. Did we ever play HSV in Europe around then?

Hits me right in the feels.

It's mental how on Champions League nights you can't even hear the Champions League theme in the stadium, the crowd are that * loud.

YNWA is a funny one, it always means that bit more to me when Celtic are going through a lean spell. That's when it really, really means something. It's still moving during the good times but when we're not on top it's just that bit more special. It's all about hope and never giving up I guess.

I was * steaming over on an over night. Drinking from 7am over on the early boat but still can remember it. It was the loudest ive been at in parkhead. On the way home next day, me and a mate filled the vip area full of sick. One of them days i just couldnt wait to get home

I can remember some of the Euro games pre stadium development back in the 80s, Forest, Rapid, Real Madrid, Partizan as being really loud, question for the old heads who were there like me....do you think those games were louder than some of the more recent great ones like Barcelona, Juventus and Tuesday?

I believe it did sound louder back in the day. Maybe because the roofs were lower. Creating more echo. But my ears used to still ring when I put my head down on the pillow that night. Still sounded like the crowd. It could be because I was small. But memory can be funny.

Aye it's a tough question and that's why I asked it, sometimes it's too easy to get sentimental and say it was louder and better back then buts it's genuinely hard to compare as you said the make up of the stadium was different and the GB and what they bring compared with them has really been a positive thing in terms of the atmosphere
