Thought he was pish.

Seems to constantly be hiding.

Kind of said a lot that Brendan took him off and moved McGregor back instead of just taking Cal off for Rogic in a straight swap.

 

His passing was absolutely woeful for most of the game today. Gave the ball away numerous times when he wasn’t even under any pressure.

Has to up his game again, no where near the player of last season. Hopefully it’s just a case of building up his fitness after his injury. However that’s not going to improve his passing, hopefully the goals and assists will start coming again though.

 

Tbf he has been injured and still trying to find full fitness.. thought him and McGregor were our best players in the 1st half and he faded in the 2nd..

Was always looking for the ball in the 1st so don't agree he was hiding just fell out of the game.

 

Nah, I wouldn't say he was hiding either, he was just gumph.

 

It's Rogic or McGregor.. in the 10..

Ntcham or Armstrong beside Brown..

 

He's kinda made a rod for his own back with the length of contract he signed.

And given the competition for places in the area of the pitch the fans patience are scarce.. the criticism around Ntcham and McGregor before are testament to that..

 

Good to have options.. I feel we played our best football last season with Brown beside Armstrong, Armstrong's is excellent at timing his runs from a deeper position..

But aye.. McGregor can play both positions competently.

This is true.

Armstong only signed new 2 year contract because he has his sights set on getting a move to the English Premiership. Unless he is constantly playing at the top of his form, I couldnt see him holding down a regular place in any English Premiership team. He's a good player but hes not top class, has looked lost when confronted with good opposition in Europe.

 

McGregor is in better form*

 

What about eboue?

 

Been poor for a while, but still better than Ntcham from what I’ve seen. Prefer him for the CL over Ntcham and against Munich I would play Armstrong, Brown and Rogic/McGregor

 

Aye, hopefully he can make the competition even more fierce, but for me he's behind them all at the mo.

 

He needs game time and I like the look of him, what we've seen anyways

 

I like Armstrong , but he has been guilty of having flat performances in the last couple of games . Today , for me , he should have been off the park ahead of anyone else . But saying that , I think we can trust Brendan to make the correct decisions . And we are in the final tie , with a good chance of retaining the trophy !
