Had the entire weight of Scotland on his shoulders for that free kick tonight and thrived on it coming an inch short.

A big game player, a born goalscorer, a gallus wee *, the heart of a lion, a complete grafter and a cracking footballer.

Can’t believe how far he’s come since joining us, he is now Scotland’s main man and rightly so.

    Some left peg.

No wonder Oh Ronny Ronny said it was the best he'd ever seen.

Showed his early skills at Hibs. I'm not overly surprised by him pushing his game on. Every player deserves that respect. But I doubted his off field behaviour. Well done wee Bumble bee!

It was a bold statement but he has a wand of a left on him. His overall play has now caught up with his natural talent now though and for me I think there’s even more levels in him.

We have alot to thank Ronny for with griff. He made the team that bad griff had no choice but to improve his game and carry us.

Noticed late on too. There was a time when KT had the ball and he had no option wide as Phillips was, well, * knows where he was, and Griff spotted it and when it went back to our defence he pulled out wide right for an option.

He thrived when Martin came on and he dropped a bit deeper. Wanting on the ball and making things happen. Versatile as *.

Such an unselfish player and as @PaulM1888 said, complete grafter!! :50: didn't stop!! Brilliant. You even see him popping up as a full back at least once every game :56:

He was absolutely everywhere last night. Some * perfect crosses and what a free kick. It's scary how good he will be in say 2 3 years. He's come on something awful since he joined. I must admit that thread was comical, the amount of guys slaughtering him. I knew he would do the business for us. Didn't know he would be this good mind you. Delighted for him.

I'll be raging if he's dropped for Moussa when Moussa is 'match fit'.

In work on Saturday morning, just went back and look through this thread.

Amazing how this player we signed from Wolves for 800k (rising to 1 million) has gone from a signing 9 out of 10 of us wrote off from the first day (me included) to a player who is probably in all of our top 5 current players lists. A really magnificent signing by Lenny and just goes to show what ignorance from us fans. During Deila's reign he was probably the only player who really improved and grew and since Brendan has come in, he has taken his game to a whole new level. His work-rate and fitness has improved massively added to his lethal finishing which he always had and that beauty of a left foot. Easily Scotland's best player in the last few games (yet i would still not be surprised if Strachan dropped him in favor of Martin on Sunday, that's just what he does!!) and has played a key part in Brendan Rodgers Celtic success.

He's has gone from a £800,000 player to a £10 million+ player in the sapce of 3 years, so credit where credit due. Also love his cheekiness (to huns), that alone will make him a legend here:ynwacelti

I always thought he'd be a decent striker for us but maybe I never realised just how good he could be. He has demonstrated fantastic work rate, clinicalness and the anti Hun mentality. Absolutely love the guy and indeed has become one of our most important players. I also feel he has became of our best ever strikers and if he stays for a few more seasons could come close to breaking 200 goals barrier.

If he stays for his career could maybe match the King's 242 goals. Our best striker since him and Hooper etc aren't even close.
