What would folk recommend for a starter set?

I can either pick up a second hand set off eBay or Gumtree or buy a bag and slowly fill it with decent clubs starting with a driver, an iron, wedge and putter.

Had a look at the full sets Sports Direct do for a couple hundred quid and they are bangers.

Depends your budget I like a full set and used market will be a good start, try affordable golf, and some independent shops you get some right good deals and you can try them so you know what feels good or try them and buy online

At this point as little as possible because my experience is currently sitting at 100 golf range baws and a single round :56:

Don’t get me wrong I’ve got a loan of a set I can keep indefinitely but would like to get my own sorted.

I'd just use them until you know if your going to take the game up, no point buying if you end up not enjoying the game
