I thought Gordon was brilliant tonight. Another shut out and what a save from that 35 yard strike.
I'm so glad we didn't sell him to Chelsea now.

Absolute howler to fumble the ball right in front of their player, just by sheer luck the * was offside and couldn't score in a barrel of * disabled burds wae nae legs.

Some save though from the other wee guy.

Wee error when we were struggling but 2 clean sheets at Ibrox then away in the CL...thats top class. Not the kind of keeper to dig us out of a tough spot like Boruc of Forster, but he is vastly underrated. We'd do well to replace him with a keeper anywhere as good as him.

Aye could have been costly although it wasn't really a fumble it bounced off his chest which is probably worse that he never got a hand to it. Good game other than that though, all kicks kept on the park, no nervous moments and a few good saves.

    Forgot about that..

Apart from that he was excellent. Good save just after our first and that second was better than Sutton made out..

Distribution was really good as well..

Yup. I quite like Sutton but I hate that phrase outfield pundits use 'it's a save he should make'.
    There's a he'll of a lot outfielders 'should do' but they don't!

What I liked was that he didn't switch off at any point and even the times when Anderlecht were ruled offside he still managed to always get something in front of the shots to block them. Although he wouldnt have known at the time it was offside still made sure nothing got past him.

    A well deserved clean sheet.

3 nearly costly moments from him last night. Couple of good saves but were lucky not to be punished. As good as the save from the long range shot was we'd be raging if he'd let that in. As I've said before in this thread he's a good keeper but we should be looking to improve. Anyway, great result now to try and sleep having just watched it after avoiding the score all night shift.

I'm glad he kept a clean sheet though that shot from outside the box which he spilled really irritated me. Thankfully the Anderlecth player was offside but he should not be spilling those.

Tbf i think other than the mistake you highlighted he was pretty good, thought his distribution was excellent.

There were quite a few offsides last night, but to be fair to Gordon, even had they been onside, he dealt with them really well.

In general his shot stopping doesn't worry me, it's probably the strongest part of his game.

    Did you know:

Any time Craig Gordon has kept a clean sheet...Celtic haven’t lost.
