Would obviously post first in the match thread itself but between it and Hun chat its became a it convoluted with sevco pain and commentator wankery...

so.... just finished watching the game fully for the first time ( was working, juggling teaching middle class Vietnamese high schoolers and sneakng peeks at a stuttering stream), so heres a take.

    Them first;

Utter pish, Pure pish, blue pish, orange pish, cashew nut flavoured pish.... jaysus theyre pish.

Their so called midfield dynamic duo of Dorrans (crap haircut pish) and Jack (empty shirt pish) were nowhere.

Big fat Pena (Pizza hut pish) was a glory to behold. I think I saw him 25 minutes in standing at the corner flag, with a bag of greggs sucking brown sauce of his fingers.

I expected some sort of threat from Candeias (porto B team pish) but he shat it and went missing.

The only "credible" threat came from Morelos ( Really crap version of Magwa from Last of the Mohicans pish). Certainly has an eye for goal, hungry, bullish, up for it and good instincts. Fortunately he doesnt know what the offside rule is, cant beat a player and spent most of the game on his hole or tying to win free kicks in nowhere areas of the pitch.

But their wee * mccrorie looks like an asset for the tribute act. First start, first "old firm" and snuffed out griff on a couple of occasions. Solid enough.

    But Overall...

    Pish.

    Now us:

Never got out of gear to be fair. I felt we had a lot more in us. Especially in the second half.

Gordon had a fine game. (despite nearly getting caught out at near post again, wink wink). actually came for the ball on more than one occasion and made a great reflex save from pish Magwa.

Boyata has come in for a wee bit of criticism but for his first start in * knows I thought he was excellent. His physical presence alone was an asset.

Jozo was rusty for me. Awareness was lacking. On a few occasions he was making last minute passes while we were being pressed high up and a better team could have made opportunities.

Tam went missing for spells but * me I love his handsome * face and his silky legs.

KT, no qualms, another solid, hoops legend in the making performance.

Sinclair was excellent, he looked like he was playing for England shot. Motivated, enthusiastic and hungry.

Broony, again, no qualms, loved his retaliatory dig (dig, not elbow Pedro) at pish Mugwa after his Boyata tackle. Captain did his job again.

Giff was superb, unlucky not to get more than one.

PR7 proved why he started before Forrest, tortured them * to the point were they had to double, sometimes triple up on him.

Armstrong was good enough, no complaints.

Lustig was sloppy, slow to react and a little lethargic at times but solid enough

Overall: great performance team wise. Some weak aspects here and there but a good run out for midweek.

Hoping to see a more solid back line and Ntcham getting a well rested start. Dembele to start also. paddy a must for me.

Annoyed me how frequently our players fell over.

There was a few at it, them too.

    Think they overwatered the pitch.
