    I'm sure he was inconsolable at the inference he had a big dong.

    Hate groups like 'Kick It Out' and 'Nil By Mouth'.Who the * do they actually think they are? The fact they're threatening fans with punishment,when they have no power to do anything about it themselves is laughable.

    Amazed this is still an issue after The Office addressed it so succinctly circa 2000.

    Let's ban all banter from football grounds. It's totally unacceptable. :55:

    I love when white people tell black people what they should and shouldn't be annoyed about.

    While I disagree with them on this occasion, groups like 'Kick It Out' are a massive part of why racism has almost been completely wiped out at British football matches, but maybe that's why you hate them?

    As for this case, I think everybody has jumped the gun on why it is being sung. It is quite possible, for example, that a rumour has gone about in relation to his tackle from fellow players. Didn't Soccer A.M always ask a question about who spent the longest in the showers? Is it not possible that this stems as much from this sort of laddish, football culture as a stereotyping based on his ethnic background. It was, I believe, well-known that Big Bobo was a big boy in all departments, would singing a song about his girth be racial stereotyping or just an individual reference?
    I also remember Celtic fans claiming that Enrico Annoni was 'hung like a pony', does this infer that all Italian males are similarly gifted? Or was it merely that it rhymed neatly with his name and his shorts having a significant bulge?
    I do think it is important that we question the language we use and cut out racial profiling and stereotyping, but I can't help but think the response here has been over-zealous.

    He won't be able to look his poor mother in the face again.
    Tbh it's shocking that people are more offended by songs about big willys than they are for songs about killing Catholics.

    * off :giggle1:

    How come they completely ignore the very conspicuous continued anti-Irish racism and sectarianism at Scottish football matches?

    So your reasoning for disliking an anti-racism group is their success at helping to remove one type of racism but not another, that is flawed logic! If they had helped to remove anti-Irish racism and bananas were still being thrown on pitches would your opinion of them be consistent? You're essentially saying that you're only bothered by racism that affects you!
