The first couple of seasons are extremely dated with awful acting at time. Great show though.

All of the seasons are brilliant. I actually loved season two and would say it was nearly my favourite, but they're all incredible.

The Simpsons is the best tv programme ever made. Just absolute laugh out loud at its peak, at its worst has more comedy than any other programme.

    The Sopranos
    Spartacus
    House of Cards
    Monkey

6 episodes into season 2 and I'm really enjoying it, tbh. I like where it's went.

The last season isn't as good, the first 4 are around the same level I reckon.

First couple episodes of each season are a bit slow till you work out all the new characters each time but I loved how the second season has its own self contained story whilst also expanding the show outwards. I'd rank them

SOA and prison break decent, Game of Thrones amazing, but still dont think anything will beat Breaking Bad for me. Absolutely perfect start to finish.

Just finished The Killing(US) season one.

Loved it. The Larsen dad giving me serious Tony Soprano vibes. Hopefully second season goes more into that side of his past.

    Best tv series?
    * *, where do I start?

Love cheers and fraiser, growing up with them always on telly and now I will happily out either on in the background if I'm doing something else.

But as for truly great tv shows, the sopranos is probably up there.

Sons of anarchy was * brilliant as well and gives it a good run.

At first didn't really go for Lost, but after seeing it a few times now, it's absolutely superb for characters and development. Even if the storyline is a bit * pish.

Here the wire is brilliant, it's on my to watch list.

Can't stand games of thrones, anyone who puts that in their top 3 needs taken outside. Over hyped nonsense that is.
Im not the biggest fan of walking dead, and again do not buy the hype, but that's a lot better than game of thrones.

If there was a '* tier' then The Sopranos,The Wire and Breaking Bad would all be up there.Band of Brothers too,if it counts.I just can't put SOA on the same level - it was entertaining but waaaay OTT,far fetched, and some of the Irish stuff was just insulting and lazy.

From the TV shows I've seen....

GoT, The Sopranos, The Wire, The Leftovers

    Would be * tier.

I'd have Breaking Bad a level below. Sons of Anarchy would be another level or 2 below that.

The Irish stuff was brutal. Some of the accents were horrific.

    Then the whole incest stuff...
