I can't even. So many absolute space cadets about.

If Armstrong signs tomorrow you can bet your life he hasn't made a right * of his contract. Armstrong is on the verge of the biggest payday of his life, the opposite of making a *, at Celtic or not.

Is that why he has been * in competitive games so far this season and was dropped today. Couldnt give a * about how much money he gets, the only thing I care about is his performances on the pitch and his * about over the contract has clearly effected his form. He also didnt bank on a £4.5 million player being signed that plays in his position. It wouldnt be the end of the world if he did leave ,we are well covered in that area which is why Celtic wont be breaking the bank to keep him.

Shut up, you fool. This boy scored 17 goals from central mid last season, despite not even being a regular for the full 12 months.

Pure * in the 4 competitive games? What like Brown was as well? the whole midfield was baws against RBK and Armstrong scored against Linfield, pure heavy * in aw those 4 games this season man.

Brendan Rodgers has said it is close and hopes Armstrong will sign soon, you can bet you're hole Celtic will be offering to make Armstrong a top earner, wether he accepts or not.

Exactly, he hasnt even been a regular for 12 months. Someone needs to tell him 6 months of good form doesn't make you a superstar. Clearly thinks he should be strutting around in the over hyped EPL now. He should concentrate on proving he can maintain good form for a couple of seasons (not making a good job of it the moment), sign the contract and be * grateful hes playing for a club like Celtic.

Hugh Keevins said on Radio earlier that he had heard that Stuart Armstrong has agreed a new contract and will be signing it imminently - hope for once he is correct

I can understand some people being angry with Armstrong. From the outside looking in and with all the rumours flying about it does appear as if he is dicking about with signing an extension.

Let's be honest though the rags love a good doom and gloom story about Celtic, whether it be a * result or a player taking time to sign a contract so I wouldn't pay much attention to them or the rumours about Stuart if there is any, I don't pay attention to any of them so I wouldn't know.

Don't want to lose him so I hope he does sign an extension.

    That worries me.

Usually the opposite of what he says is true.

Decent player on his day Armstrong but, while he's been * around over this contract, mcgregor and ntcham have been playing their way into the team.
Even if he does sign, a spell on the bench is in order.

Armstrong is a very good player and would be silly to * us about. He needs to think about what he wants, playing at a mid level prem club or a team who goes down to the championship with a 4 year deal on good money or playing in Europe every season in front of 60k and winning trophies and on good money maybe not prem money but good enough.

He could fill the gap when Brown does leave and be our captain. Really hope he signs a new deal.

Seen comments on him on social media along the lines of oh I don't blame him he will want to set himself up for rest of his life ...... see comments like that infuriate me. Why? Because people need to start doing the math he is probs on 4 to 8 grand the now and has been for the last four seasons meaning he has made over a million or is close to making g a million while he has been here so say his new contract is 12 grand for three seasons that nearly 2 million pounds . My point is its got nothing to do with setting himself up for life he can already do that here.

It doesn't work like that mate. That type of money is great but it goes very quick once you start spending.

Considering he's studying law at uni, then i imagine he's already thought about life 'after' football, or playing it at least.

I'll be glad when this mini saga comes to an end and we start seeing him in good form again.

Starting to prefer Mcgregor to him.
Should give him an ultimatum, either sign or * off.
We are not short of quality in his position and I'd prefer to get money for him than him doing a Liam Miller on us.
