    That's not how we work though, as any youngster who doesn't make the first team within a few years is loaned out then sold.

    What we need is a squad of players. We need at least three strikers, all of whom are happy to play their part. I don't know if we'll get three or four strikers of top quality, as inevitably a few of them won't be playing.

    Someone like Moult would probably be happy to play their part, even if it is a small one. Not everyone can be a superstar.

    Nah not Moult though, offers nothing Dembele and Griffiths aren't both significantly better options than. 3rd choice should offer some different attributes.

    I'd prefer we had someone in reserve who played in a similar fashion to be honest, who could come in and play in our system when required.

    We have a clear opportunity to push on , doesn't look like we're taking it. Quality is needed if we're looking to make any progress in Europe..

    I want more in too, amigo.

    But, we have plenty of quality at our disposal to QUALIFY for Europe - who's to say our top targets won't commit until we are actually IN the CL group?

    How about a short term loan deal, just as a stop gap.

    Just Rodgers comments that we're only bringing one more in , when it's clear to anyone we need more. Put's doubt in my mind, that he's being fully backed..

    Ntcham one and "hopefully" one other now. Have a real feeling the board are going back on him now, definitely didn't go into these qualifiers on the back of a good window so far.

    I did have a sneaky suspicion that a bit of complacency might creep in after the good season that we had. But always feels like we don't really do enough to show that we're really trying to get to that next level in Europe. It reminds me of after the 2012/13 campaign where we sold a lot of our best players and either replaced them with dross or didn't properly replace them at all.

    I still have faith though that we'll bring in some quality.

    Just on the point about not having 3 strikers, what if one of the two gets a long term injury, who do you bring on as a sub for the remaining striker ?

    I agree with Rodgers when he says you can't have 3 strikers in a squad of players with a 1 up top formation starting 11. We struggle to keep the 2 we've got happy under normal circumstances.

    What we need is someone that is a better option when the time comes to adapt. Rogic clearly isn't the answer and for me neither is Sinclair because he's best from left to centre.
