    Atmosphere was good at the start but with a * performance on the pitch and no dedicated section to keep the noise up it fell flat

    As good a job as the Green Brigade do creating an atmosphere, it's a wee bit depressing that the rest of the ground can't create an electric atmosphere without one corner of the ground there to lead the way. There were still 50 odd thousand people there tonight but it sure didn't sound like it.

    I must say when the players don't play well the atmosphere is toxic at times. The amount of moaning and groaning gets ridiculous

    To be honest, even with the GB there, the atmosphere in the park has gotten toxic before. Some of it depends on whats happening on the pitch. I seem to remember Rogers begging for patience from the fans in the stands last year around this time.

    He did indeed.

    To be fair to the fans who were there tonight, they never turned on the team. It's just that they didn't create much of an atmosphere either. It had more of a friendly feel than a crucial Champions League qualifier.

    Atmosphere was total, total *. I'm in the standing section and the fans that were still there tried their best to get the atmosphere going but the rest of the stadium never bothered trying to join in. Shows how much the atmosphere relies on the Green Brigade.

    Nights like to tonight are what can make it embarrassing when we claim to be the best fans in the world. Some amount of whinging after a draw in Europe with a depleted squad.

    I'm not saying that you need to be happy about the performance, but at least get behind the team.
