It is on Sunday 25 May at Celtic Park, no TV channels confirmed for it yet but would imagine some channel would want to show it live.

no its defenitely the 98 team:

    Gould
    Kerr
    Boyd
    McNamara
    Reiper
    Stubbs
Annoni ( remember of him two different coloured boots)
    Mahe
    Blinker
    Weighorst
    Tosh McKinley
    Johnson
    Mackay
    Lambert
    Burley
    Hannah

The only channel that puts on they kind of games is channel Five. If they have an Italian game on that day then it won`t be on tv at all probs.

This is weird, I was just talking to my old man about this the other day.

I dont know if they'll manage to get a full team from the '98 season, so I was thinking they will probably spring a few surprises. Probably get a few of the other boys who played with O'Donnell. I was thinking the likes of Pierre, Cadete and Di Canio as well.

Either way it'll be a good day, if it is tinged with sadness. I'll be there, I think the whole family are going to try and go in fact. I am even going to take my wee boy, who is 4, to his 1st Celtic match that day.

Was thinking about going to Fir Park when they name the stand as well, apparently Man Utd are lined up to play them that day.

A special game for Celtic to play and it will be great to see Larsson running out in the hoops again.
I think the old testimonial type friendly games are a think of the past except in very unique circumstances but it is just a great gesture that Celtic are playing this game. The kind of gesture that makes you proud to be a Celtic supporter.

The danger is that it's turned into a Celtic old boys' day. Mustn't forget what it's all about.

i would think about 25 pounds that is the standard for benifit games in recent years.
