I'd be delighted if we signed Borini, he's being well underrated by people here. He has good pace and work rate, 2 good feet and would be too clever and technical for the Scottish League, capable of playing either wing or as a striker as well so would add great depth for us. If he was available for £4million on £25k a week he'd be a great signing the same as Sinclair.

A forward line of Borini, Dembele and Sinclair would sail through the CL quaifiers as none of the teams we could meet have even 1 player of their quality up front.

Someone who had played for Italy, Chelsea, Roma and Liverpool by the age of 21 isn't a mug. He's one of those players with good ability, not good enough for the top teams who's ended up at one of the * teams and struggled cause how * the team are.

Similar signing to Sinclair, would be a great signing depending on price and wages.

Anything about 4 million would be good business

I think he's underrated because he hasn't played well for a * team in sunderland. But if you judged Sinclair by his time at Villa you'd think "* that" and look how he's done. Rodgers would get 100% out of Borini, if he comes I'd be happy but I'm not desperate to sign him.

Personally I think it's a wee bit different than Sinclair. Aston Villa played Sinclair out of position, basically as a LWB and he was not suited to that at all. Borini has always played as an attacking player. Whether it be on the left or the right or even up front. He's never reallly set the world alight. He would get chances up here, no doubt. I just don't think he would be the signing we need. In saying that, Rodgers deserves every piece of faith from every single fan. If he thinks that he can offer us something then I will support him 100,000,000,000%

No, he was definitely used as a left or right winger and even up front at times if needed. They had Jordan Amavi, Aly Cissokho and even Kieran Richardson that year if I'm right. He was never a LWB. Aston Villa were that poor that he was always on the back foot and forced to track back, but he was a forward.

Just looked into it a bit more, apparently he's holding talks with AC Milan over a £6M move.

Don't get that one from the clubs POV. Decent player, but he's gonna get 10 games then get loaned out for the next 3 seasons cause he's not good enough.

Good. Wouldn't want us paying £6m. We wouldn't either.

Kind of player I'd only take a punt on if he was available for about £2m.

If he wangles a move to AC Milan fair play. Would be another addition to a CV which is mightily impressive for a pretty average player.

Having medical at AC Milan tomorrow ahead of a £5.3m move. Don't think, at that price, he was ever an option for us.

Nothing to do with the price, we could afford 5.3 million.

There is nothing whatsoever to suggest we even looked at him, as has been said Rodgers didn't like him at a previous club and Borini was public in his criticism of Rodgers.
