    Cmon to *.

"Quality not quantity" is what we've been told.

Hayes will do a job, but id hope to be signing better than the likes of McGinn and Douglas.

I'd be more than happy with Barry Douglas as backup. Not quite as good as Robertson, but i think a few folk would be surprised. £8million for Robertson would probably price him out a move to Celtic.

I reckon we were/are looking at him in the eventuality of Izzy signing (reportedly) a new deal.

Would be a fantastic backup to Tierney.

    Always liked him at Utd.

Would have him as back up if Izzy were to leave, seems to have made a good career from himself abroad, which is good to see.

Izzy lost his place in the team and has since remained a positive influence. Might not play much, but he's certainly a good experienced guy and that can rub off on the younger players. Similar to Toure, didn't play much but was a really positive influence on the first team.

I doubt we are even slightly interested. Tierney first choice and izaguirre will sign a new deal. If the original source is HITC then it's definitely a lot of *

I honestly think he's pumping his own player up with the hope of getting more money from Wolves for him. First, we were basically going to sign him with Wolves having "last gasp" interest. Now Wolves have offered more and we just couldn't agree a deal. Smells like * to me.

Brendan has commented on the young player joining our development side, and also adding an experienced, powerful, and quality player who will improve us. None of what he's officially commented on points to Barry Douglas. Whether he is a decent player or not, he's not going to improve us and we wouldn't have room for him anyways.

Tierney and Izzy, plus Sinclair and Hayes further forward. No chance.
