Griff has to start. Really don't want to see him benched.

    I wouldn't start him.

Keep him on the bench and start Leigh.

If they were still interested next season and qualified for the cl, I'd like to see him go there. Deserves to play for another big club, not Chelsea or some *.

Love the big man but if he starts in front of Griff, he would have every right to be raging.

I would rather LG start but we have to trust Brendan's tactics.

    Bit OTT.

I understand fully where you're coming from and I'd start Griff as well but the guy that has come in and not lost a single game in Scotland all season deserves more respect than that.

In Brendan we trust is an all encompassing statement. You have to trust him implicitly.

I don't think it's over the top and I do have a lot of respect for his work with us. I just don't like managers who revert to their favourites at the expense of a guy in great form. It would be a very shoddy way to treat Griffiths.

I don't think that it would be reverting to his favorite here. I just think that Brendan is always thinking tactically and we might not immediately understand his reasoning but in the fullness of time will be glad of it. I don't think he does anything without a reason. Like the day he hooked LG to conserve his fitness for the next big game. It's us who have the favorites and most of us are loyal o Griff but you can't always win with the heart sometimes you need to use the head :56:

Fair enough. I just think Griffiths deserves to start.

Yeah me too but I won't complain if he doesn't as in Brendan we trust. A footballer can't afford to take it personally either as it's a team effort and we wouldn't be there without them all.

It's not about favouritism, If Brendan chooses Dembele to start it's with the best wishes of the club in mind.

It's like Messi being brought in for a cup final ahead of an inform Alcacer, Larsson being brought in ahead of an inform Hartson. If your biggest goal threat/best player is 100% fit and ready then bringing him straight back into the fold is totally normal.

Club over sentiment and given what he's done Rodgers deserves respect for his decisions, not faltering respect.

He won't start Dembele. It would put Griff's head right down and is a risk to start a young lad who's just back from a spell out with no match sharpness.

Imagine moussa misses a few sitters and pulls his hammy again in the first half.. Brendan would have to use a sub early and bring on a * off Griffiths. Plus a few of us would be questioning it too.

Leigh will start and deservedly so.

Has to be Griff. Was only a couple of weeks ago he was talking about how desperate he was to win the cup because he was always getting ripped for not having won it. He's in great form too, would be incredibly harsh to drop him.

Seen on Sky Sports they are linking him with AC Milan Arsenal and someone else for about £30 million.
Normally I'd be thinking great let's sell, but the way money is going just now we should hold out for £50m minimun. Look at the brazillian Madrid just signed the figure for martial and now mbappe's price, absolutely ridiculous, hope he doesn't go but if he does we should hold out for as much as possible
