Seen a guy down the canal cut his neck with a cheap razorblade which he had modified to be able to cut rather than use normally i.e a safety razor. Dripping with deep red blood, had to talk him into chucking it away while blood all over the place. Once he done that stalled blood flow with a t shirt. Thankfully a woman walked by who knew what she was doing while I phoned the services.

Not scary compared to some here but quite traumatic seeing a seemingly normal guy doing that.

This reminded me of a time a few years ago when I was smashed walking home from town and took a wrong turn and ended up somewhere in Pollokshields/Kinning Park, turned a corner and there was no joke about 30 odd guys in trackies, etc, they saw me and started chasing me, tried to flag a passing cab but it was just a random person in their car and they never stopped. Luckily, a taxi came down the road behind them and I literally ran into the middle of the road to stop it. Was so close to getting caught, could have been nasty.

When a surgeon has had to scoop an abscess out of the inside of of your * on two separate occasions and you survive to sit on the throne once again, you fell like you could handle anything... not tooth related.

    Wait, what

I've got a broken jaw but the plate for my gums or whatever you call it has moved and snapped to roots of a couple of teeth so I need my jaw like realigned and teeth out.

Nothing up ma chuffer though, that's a one way street.

Yep. Two abscesses in my * I had to get surgery for and another that burst before I got to hospital so jus got antibiotics for it. For the record, an abscess is the most painful thing I've ever experienced, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, I felt as if I had a rugby ball up there, yet it was only the size of a boil (according to my amazing Wife). Most of it is under the skin though that's why they have to scoop. :fear:

Had 3 in 2 years then none for the last 10 years so hopefully never again.

I've had an abscess in the mouth too, it doesn't compare believe me.

I lost out on a promotion because of the first one. Had been up all night in agony before getting my tin flute on and going to get the bus to my meeting. I got halfway up the road to the bus stop and had to literally crawl back home because I couldn't walk any further.

Seriously unbelievable pain. I've not won the thread though because it wasn't scary. Just agonising.

That Boston story freaks the bejesus out of me. You forget for a while and then the thread gets bumped and you relive it all over again.

    Genuinely unexplainable.

It's not just the anniversary, it's the * detail in the post that coincides with the scenes in Boston that day.

    Mental.

Aye the Boston story trumps anything that I've ever seen posted on this thread, forum or the internet for that matter.

Really common those things with guys......its because guys are so hairy :56:In most cases a hair has turned inward causing a sinus or an abscess. :54:

I will never forget that either and I don't generally believe in stuff like that.

Just seen original post and seen it was edited , couldn't the Boston part have been added in to the post by the mod?
