[Official TC Thread] Celtic v Hun Scum, Cup Semi

Outta read some of their forums for a breakdown of the game. They aren't that good, we had 4 shots at goal, last 10 minutes we outplayed them, 2-3 million and we'll win the league, Celtic are bottlers, goals they scored were our own fault.

 

Still on a real high from yesterday. Obviously we are clearly a better team then them as the league table shows but in a one off and with the kind of ref decisions that cost us in the semi-final 2 years ago very much on my mind I genuinely felt we would need to produce something special to be sure of winning Sunday and boy did we ever. That was some display brilliant stuff from the whole team.

 

The ones I spoke to yesterday mostly admitted Celtic deserved to win. Apart fae one bawbag who said they were up against twelve men and that a teacher at a Catholic school should never have been allowed to referee the match. Smh

 

That's rubbish. Collum could have, if he had chosen, sent off both Beerman and Halliday. Now that would have stoked up real controversy.

I'm thinking more of in the corridors of power in the SFA.
Collum didn't want tarred with the same brush as Robertson and Madden. He will have emerged unscathed in their eyes after this match, and done his reputation a bit more improved like.

It's not meaningless yet. I have a feeling it will be Thompson. That big lanky streak of misery.

 

In all the Euphoria don't forget two stone wall red cards denied us. Standard of refereeing against us is ridiculous and Celtic should be taking a stand against it. Apologies if this has already been discussed but couldn't be arsed reading through the thread.

 

I'm not sure you know what embarrassed means, and not just because of that post either.

I'll say what I like mate, it's better to say it when you're winning than after a loss, but then when I was 12 I used to think like you too.
