A bit early to make a call on KT, the ingredients are there, but I think a Captain needs a little more maturity.
If you had to choose from the current squad, then Armstrong, although, I like a little more grit in a captain.

Has to be Tierney, it'll be 2/3 years time and he'll be young but he'll be ready. He already puts in Captain's performances almost every game. I think he's quite vocal when he wants to be.

Of course Brendan will have bought a few players by then so it could end up being one of them. I would have said Erik but he has to be up for the fight every time and right now I'm not sure he is.

Broony plays every game at full pelt and tries his damnedest to take charge of midfield if he can and domestically he usually does.

Armstrong would probably be Brendan's choice by that time he'll be reaching the right age for it.

    Griffiths was a good shout.

Gordon too but I'm not sure keepers make the best Captains as they're not out in the field of battle.

    * that's going to be a sad day when Broony hangs up his boots.

If Brown was to go right now I'd give it to Lustig or Gordon, purely because of Armstrong/KT/Sviatchenko's lack of experience. However as someone else just pointed out I'm not a massive fan of keepers as captain.

    Could Jozo possibly take it?

We need someone who's here for the long haul and who gets the club, you can't find the better person than Tierney. Also, I think he's vocal enough for his age, I often see him talking to his teammates, I think he would do that even more if he was to be our captain.

If not KT, my candidate would be Armstrong, as long as he signs a new contract.

Jozo is probably less experienced in a Celtic shirt than the three others you have mentioned. He's also only 22. He is captain material though, the guy is a monster.

Give the armband to KT for me. I can't see him ever leaving if he's captain :50:

Brown will be captain for another 4 years to get 10 iar. Our team will change by then but for arguments sake... Jozo, Armstrong or Tierney.

There isn't a plethora of options in the current squad. In fact Kieran Tierney, Mikael Lustig and Craig Gordon are the only players I would even consider. By the time Broony is ready to hand over the armband I doubt Lustig will be here and Craig Gordon might not be either. So that only leaves Tierney. Generally I'd be against giving the captaincy to someone that young but with another couple of years experience under his belt I think he'd be ready to take it on.

Either Rogic or Armstrong would be my choice.
None of the rest have what it takes, yet, to have the honour of wearing our club's captain's armband.

Armstrong has never struck me as someone who we would make captain. Good player, nice guy and clearly a clever guy too but I don't see him as a captain.

If I had to pick someone from the current team it would probably Lustig, then Gordon. By the time Brown retires it could well be KT. I actually think replacing Browns leadership ability will be incredibly tough, we haven't had many characters like him since the MON days.

Totally agree. Useful player and he seems like a nice guy but he's not captain material. He doesn't have a forceful enough personality on the pitch.
