On the subject of hotels, better still was at Norwich at the game we played there a few seasons ago, I noticed there was a hotel in the corner of the ground and some rooms looked out at the pitch, * brilliant

This is great news. Major kudos to the club for developing the area around the stadium, it's improved massively in the last few years.

This is brilliant, all this work they slowly been doing around the area is great.

This will be huge outlay but great for the club in long term, just imagine the hotel+ match day they could cross sell haha.

It's like when the old club left us standing in the late 80s, when they had their stadium near enough built with all the pie stalls in, the hospitality, restaurant, they started winning with big name players and were getting better sponsorship deals than us etc and their turnover and wagebill was nearly double ours.

Now it's even worse for them as our turnover and wagebill is nearly triple theirs and our stadium, facilities are in much better nick, we are also in less debt and have much more assets plus have well established ourselves as the top team in Scotland in the modern era, with the biggest stadium, competing in Europe selling more season tickets than they can fit in their stadium. They are skint with no assets and a pisspoor stadium that really needs decked and rebuilt, they're getting further into debt whilst going nowhere and are already overspending what they can afford just to maintain being *.

Plans for that were in place when Lennoxtown was built, was just a case of waiting until the money was there.

So we've got a hotel/museum outside CP in the works, an indoor pitch that we've been crying out for, and a world class manager who claims he's not been given a ceiling in the transfer market? * me Lawwell

Should make it a full stadium with a closed roof, we'll need to use up some of the council gold reserves before we get caught with it all :brendy:

Bit like Murray Park. The leaking roof mimics a rainy day, top of the range facility.

Bolton have a similar set up , I stayed years ago now, but the idea of being able to watch a game while on your bed sounds good, just a shame Bolton are * though :56:

Hope he isn't the night manager what with keeping back doors shut.

This will be great when finished. I'd call it the Hilten-in-a-row.
