I checked before posting to see if it was true and it's the real deal.

The chance of you dying on the way to get lottery tickets is actually greater than your chance of winning.

What happens when it gets to scent 50,001? Does it delete scent 00,001 from memory?

in the middle ages streets were mostly named after the activities that took place there . baker street , bankers road etc etc . a common street name in most English towns was gropecunt lane , try before you buy sort of thing . the last one disappeared in 1561 . a recent petition to have the name reinstated was denied . :39:

    A banana is a fruit.

Because it comes from a herbaceous plant there's an argument it could also be a herb.

Royal mail recently produced a Stamp to mark 2000 years of Prostitution. It costs 50p to buy and another £100 to lick it:71::celtman2::99:

Fish, chicken, etc, are considered not meat because, when the Americas were settled, the Christians at the time wouldn't eat meat so they were reclassified simply so that they wouldn't starve.

Well, there is the Zoo hypothesis, which basically states that we're being watched from afar so we can evolve naturally. "Aliens might, for example, choose to allow contact once the human species has passed certain technological, political, or ethical standards," I seriously hope it isn't true, it'd * with my head too much. All the great minds we consider brilliant turning out to be mere primates in contrast to a whole other alien species. It'd just turn my world upside down.

In the 19th century more money was invested into the slave trade world wide than there was put into Railroad, construction or education put together. The Portuguese, English, French and Dutch all being at the forefront.

1690 Battle of the Boyne was contested by William and James. William was James' father in law. And the straw that broke the camels back and resulted in said battle, was because William defeated James in a flute playing competition after a dinner banquet in Williams home. James felt humiliated. This is why we have so many orange flute bands. I recounted this tale to about 5 staunch hardline loyalists I know near the 12th last year. And they didn't even realise this fact. So much for their cultural history.
