Agreed. Love Corsica. Beautiful place. But Efe won't be leaving the UK until he gets his visa.

It wasn't long after that video the medical conditions took hold, colour blindness, trigger foot & curly toe with ingrowing neck.

It may be but I doubt it.

He's had plenty of opportunities to leave but hasn't. China wouldn't have a visa issue for him.

Edit: got what you meant. Stupid me.

Hope he goes. Though going by the sounds of it with him wanting a visa etc he might not budge until the summer.

I still like him, majority of his time here he has been good for us but he became a target for abuse from our fans and media and the joke has stuck with him.

In reality he makes just as many mistakes as any defender but because he has became a joke figure it's 10 times worse.

He is a great professional and a good player

Surely we could loan him out to spl club or league 1 club in England. Get him off wage bill.

No. He'd the best player in a five-a-side team with your mates, constantly beating 40-something year old fat * who haven't ran more than a mile since the 90's. But he just isn't good enough for that kind of play style at this level, it doesn't help his case that he can't really defend either. As a result of that he * up a lot more than the average defender

Blackburn Rovers have offered Efe Ambrose the chance to get his career back on track at Ewood Park.

Frozen out at Celtic since Brendan Rodgers took charge last summer, the 28-year-old Nigerian international is wanted by Rovers manager Owen Coyle on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Coyle’s side are sitting third bottom of the Championship and are hopeful that Ambrose’s experience can help them to edge away from the relegation zone.

Ambrose also has the offer of a two-year contract with French side Bastia to weigh up but is thought to be keen to obtain a British passport and that could yet work in Blackburn’s favour – with another unnamed English club also interested in making his move permanent.

Ambrose would maybe be decent elsewhere as he has a few decent attributes and a good attitude but let's be honest his time here is well and truly over.

His decision making is woeful, he is regularly out of position and is weak as * in the tackle. He is also * poor in the air for a man of his size and very often gets bullied by average sized strikers. He is also very prone to getting bamboozled by the movement of your average forward.

His passing isn't too great and his only way of progressing further up the pitch is taking players on where admittedly he experiences some early success but inevitably ends up relinquishing possesion.

He is never really that far away from an own goal at any given time, and generally costs us at least a few goals a season as a result of unnecessary individual errors that are outwith the control of the manager and any of the other ten Celtic players on the pitch.

Apart from that I think he's a fairly solid centre half and he'd improve any team he went to.

That has to be one of the greatest debuts ever. I remember everyone was saying he was the next Yaya Toure style midfielder.

I think he's waiting for a big offer from China.

Would be happy for him to go to Blackburn until his contracts up, especially if they are willing the contribute to the majority of his wage

No chance.... The waiters there are expert! And young . He wouldn't be up to it.

It's a fkn disgrace that any football club should be a job and ticket to a British passport/citizenship just to suit the player. If he had any self respect he'd have requested to go ages ago.

We should just pay him up and tell him to walk.

It's not a disgrace at all. We gave him a contract and have to honour it.

Efe is no different to a Scottish engineer brought over to Australia by a firm and using their employment as a basis to obtain residency/citizenship, for a better life.

Happens in every walk of life, and shows that despite the great coin he could/is making, he is willing to sacrifice his precious playing days to open opportunities for his immediate family.

Once he has that passport his family will have infinitely more opportunities and benefit for generations.
