Agreed, Armstrong as the starter, Henderson as an option of the bench, no confidence in Bitton at the moment.

Interesting that Rodgers brought on McGregor and Henderson and left Bitton on the bench. Must not be happy with him.

Massive message sent to him tonight by the manager. Armstrong starting ahead of him and both McGregor and Henderson on the pitch before him.

I don't know why people would want him to go. What I want is Rodgers to get the absolute best out of his ability because his ability is something that is rarely on the market for us.

He's clearly not doing it Dev. Rodgers has done this and dropped him numerous time's completely already in his short time here, and the clown isn't showing anything extra..

I think the boss, and Bitton, both know the relationship is over..

At this point I'd be majorly surprised if he was here by the end of January..

He'll do well somewhere else, which just sums him up for what he's (not) giving here..

I think it takes more than 3 or so months to get people fully over to your way of thinking at times, I have full faith in Rodgers managerial ability for him to be able to do this.

He was exactly like this at the tail end of Ronny's reign as well..

Putting me on the spot right now....I'd say he without doubt wants away..

Something clearly off, and he's playing nowhere near how he should, or can..

Doesn't break, doesn't cover, barely a goal threat, lazy, pulls out of tackles, wants off when it get's tough, petulant in tackles..

Don't think you can put most, If no, any, down to getting used to a new philosophy..

I'd like to see this happening too but I can't help agree with @McGuire that while other players have responded to Rodgers and improved their game Bitton doesn't seem to have reacted well at all and it might signify he wants away but that's a logic I'll never understand because if a manager is scouting you and notices no progression when Rodgers is the manager then it's going to put him off.

If a player wants a move you'd think they'd play out of their skin to impress potential managers.

He's lazy. Bittin can either start to get fit and put in the yards or disappear back to the Holy Land.

I wouldnt read too much into Henderson and McGregor getting subbed on ahead of Bitton. Both are more attack minded players and we where pushing for goals.

Hopefully getting dropped for Armstrong pushed him on though, technically he is one of the best players here.

So much to offer but think we have all (near enough) run out of patience.

If his performances are anything to go by, I'm sure he won't give a * about being an unused sub. Doesn't care.

I just don't think he suits the way Rodgers wants the team to play, regardless of how well he's playing. Even at his best he's lazy, slow and guilty of wanting too much time on the ball.

    Want rid of him.

I think he's been off the pace for a while now and I'm glad he didn't play tonight as he's really irritated me in recent times. Reckon we should just cash in on him, can't keep up with the tempo necessary for a Rodgers style of play.

might be good option to see if we could get a swap deal for a midfielder.. i'm sure a few clubs would be interested
in Bitton. He is / can be a good player but there is something missing.. attitude? mindset? not sure
