James Forrest

He was terrible. Kept cutting in and running into there players. Was hoping roberts would come on.

 

Its no secret that Forrest has been a largely inconsistent player for most of his career, he started the season well and done ok yesterday but it feels like he is fading away again.

I think Paddy should get a run of 3/4 games.

 

Aye.

 

Watching the end of the game again, Forrest made a great tackle in their half, just as they were going on the attack. It was right before the Sinclair penalty shout.

 

Blind hate?

He was crap yesterday pal, seems more like blind faith on your part to me.

 

He had a couple of great moments in the game, in my opinion.

 

Think wee Paddy will be coming in on Wednesday. Overall James Forrest still has been very good this season so far.

 

I was amazed he played the full 90 yesterday, thought Paddy should have replaced him about 60 minutes in.

Just get the feeling Rodgers isn't Roberts' biggest fan.

 

Thought he was poor yesterday for the majority, and would've subbed him even as early as half time..

Wallace was out the game and all he had to do was beat Barrie * McKay at left back to go bearing down on the box, and was meekly tackled..

Very frustrating for me yesterday..

 

slowly going back to his previous form of poor crossing, running into crowds etc.

hope just a few poorer games and picks back up.

but hey i am not his biggest fan anyway.

His form has begun to dip in the last two or three matches. If he doesn't pick up again in the next couple of games then it's time to give Patrick Roberts a run in the team.

 

I wouldn't say he was horrible, started the game very well actually but faded and was needing subbed off at the start of the second half. Surprised he lasted the full 90 tbh.

 

Roberts should take his place now, to many bad games in a row.

 

Although Roberts isn't setting the world on fire at the moment, right now he still offers more than Forrest. In order to do something in Europe simple pace can't cut it, we need technical ability too, which Roberts has.

 

Blatantly got told to come back out at half time and give everything for 10/15 minute's as that's the only time he really tried to go for it..

* poor. Inexcusable ducking out of 50/50's..

 

For me he is back to his old self....rotten!

 

I genuinely do not get the fuss with this lad at all.

I know @Sean Daleer and @Minty will tell me otherwise but he must be Rodgers best mate because Paddy is clearly a better player and playing better at the moment whilst Forrest didn't even want to stay in the summer and fans where calling him crap.

Why does Rodgers keep playing him?

 

He was absolutely sensational until a few weeks ago.

Wingers go off the boil all the time.

Thankfully we have Paddy to replace him.
