Yeah I hope we do keep changing things up though because last season we got stuck in the 4 2 3 1 and I think it prevented us from using different players for different circumstances.

Roberts and Sinclair on the wing with Griffiths and Dembele in the middle. Good thing about that is both Roberts and Sinclair are good at coming inside and having a shot. They can also play inside the box linking up with Griff and Moussa. Griff is also a specialist at shooting from outside the box whereas Moussa seems to be more a 6 yard man which is a great combination.

As you say they've all played so far this season and played well. We need to rotate though and keep them buzzing.

Class act! ...to think that some clowns on here would have us believe that his level is Rotherham or Bristol :57:

What a belter of an assist today, liked the way he and Dembele flew into the crowd fuking epic. To all the haters go take a flying *, Grittifhs will be here for the long run when Dembele is long gone.

He also put another beauty of a ball right across the 6 yard box just before the goal.

    Love the wee *.

Understands why he's on the bench but doesn't think twice about setting Mousa up...

So happy to have him at our club and I can tell he knows what it means to be here.

Made a big difference, didn't think it was Rodgers best game today but when Griffiths finally got off the bench he made a big difference.

It's a thing I like about Rodgers, when things aren't going to plan his substitutions seems to work out pretty well.

I love Griff he plays with all his heart and soul. He was born to play football. I hope we see more of him with Dembele as they look so great together. A potentially formidable monster of a pairing .......we could create a new name for the pairing Dembelgriff :56:

Wonder if he reads his thread, since he went for the dead chip yesterday..

His cross reminded me when he set up Sinclair at tyncastle. He actually puts in better crosses into the box than forrest

A lot of strikers in that position after a wee bit of time on the bench probably would have tried to take that in and get a shot away.

hate using the term but it just shows you that he does indeed have a "footballing brain"

frustrating to see him try the chip instead of hitting the back of the net like we know he can.

tough one, i think hes just a victim of circumstance at the moment.

certainly nice to have such a player struggling for a start, but im sure once season fully settles down him and the D will be playing together up front!

I thought he could have brought it on to his right foot, but the way he was running, the ball was on his left. Might have been closed down by the time he brought it on to his right.

You can see he's gagging to get involved and get in amongst the goals. Start him on Wednesday and see how he gets on.

Think we'll go 2 up top from the off..

He was good when he came on. 2 brilliant ball's in, nearly chipped the keeper and was a menace. Once or twice he could've passed when it was the better option but fuckit..

Leigh Griffiths played a decent cameo yesterday afternoon but the striker was still irked about the one that got away.

As Celtic twisted the knife after taking the lead in the dying minutes, Griffiths had the chance to add to the scoreline when he broke through the Rangers defence only to see his attempted chip pushed away by Matt Gilks.

“I am devastated with that,” said the striker. “Nine times out of ten I would just smash it straight across goal but I thought Gilks was going to go down so I tried to put it over him but it wasn’t to be.

“I am just glad that we got through because if they had gone up the park and scored then I would have put myself in a hole.

    -------------------

Nae wonder the Griffiths clan is so big. Ye shouldny be rewarding yersel for that Leigh.
