Did anyone watch the BTCC today? It was pretty wild at times.

There's quite a few cars wrecked.

The last race the field didn't get over the start line before the mayhem started. Hunter Abbott ended up rolling a few times, mounted the barrier and knocked the camera gantry over with the camera man in it.

He was lucky that he wasn't injured.

 

Some crash from Magnusson there,lucky to walk away without an injury,was going at 190mph too.

 

I thought he went nose first when I first seen it which would have been worse. Think the spin and the side impact would of helped a little.

Belgian crowd hate Rosberg. I say Belgian, they were of course all Dutch.

 

I thought the crowd where extremely disrespectful towards Rosberg. If that was Hamilton fans treating him like that people would be kicking up all sorts of *.

Enjoyable race, was hoping Force India would get a podium but pleased we are in 4th now.

Max needs to calm down with his defensive positioning at times. Having all the talent in the world means nothing if you end up with penalties.

 

Just won a Grand Prix and one of the first things he said to Webber was bigging up Verstappen, what more do the crowd want?

 

Hamilton on pole by almost half a second ahead of Rosberg in Monza

 

Did i hear right that since 2000, other than 2 times, the winner has been on pole? And the other 2 were in second on the grid?

 

Something about Rubens Barrichello being the only guy too win it from behind the front row of the grid in the 21st century. He started 5th in 2009.

After the race, Hamilton told BBC Radio 5 live's Tom Clarkson: "My question is to Mercedes. We have so many engines made, but mine are the only ones failing this year.

"Someone needs to give me some answers because this is not acceptable. We are fighting for the championship and only my engines are failing. It does not sit right with me."




That's a pretty big statement to make. I can't see him staying at Mercedes is he thinks they are cheating him.

 

Im probably way off, but i cant help but feel Mercedes want Rosberg to win this year, just to give them 2 World Champs driving for them etc. Hamilton is clearly a faster driver, but things seem to be conspiring against him.
Id put my life savings on Hamilton winning next year once Rosberg has been allowed to win his world title.

I said it way back on this thread Rosberg is a * driver.

Anytime he's under the least bit of pressure (i.e. there's another car near him) he either makes an error or hits the other car, just look at the amount of incidents he's been involved in this season alone.

Mercedes want a German driver to be their world champion and I think it's been shown this season even down to Lauda blaming Hamilton for Rosberg's * driving in Barcelona. I lost all respect for Lauda after that.

Hamilton has had mechanical problems all year, it doesn't seem to be getting better.

Keke Rosberg, Nico's dad owns a Mercedes backed team in the DTM and has for years.
