    Glamour group -
    Bayern / Real Madrid
    Dortmund / Atletico
    Spurs / PSV

    To realistically qualify -
    CSKA / Leicester
    Leverkusen / Porto
    Basel / Brugges

Want something different. No Barca, no Benfica, no Ajax should they get there.

    Leicester
    Dortmund
    Brugge/Sporting
    Celtic

    That'd be good.

Agree, also good to avoid Russian and Ukranian teams.

I'd have no problems with that draw, apart the lack of variety. Benfica reached the quarters last season (could've have eliminated Bayern, wasted opportunity) and looking at the investment made this season I'd say the president dreams of reaching even latter stages. To get to the quarters again we'll have to face good teams sooner or later. I'd prefer to avoid Borussia Mönchengladbach and Mónaco and would gladly take København. Celtic are in the grey area for me. Pot 4 includes some long trips as well so there's no perfect opponents (weak + small trips).

How do you think you'll cope without Sanches & Gaitan? 2 big losses. I watched some of your draw against Setebul and Benfica looked a bit lacklustre. Sure you'll improve though. :50:I wouldn't mind Benfica either but would like a bit of variety aswell.

Some result for Porto last night in Rome to be fair. Are you confident of 4 in a row?

I believe Celtic fans see pot 1 the same way I see pot 4. Maybe CSKA would be preferable, but that's a long trip to cold Russia. And Leicester lacks glamour. Benfica have the right balance: Celtic can take points (especially at home) and avoid a long trip.

Gaitán was well replaced. Franco Cervi, André Carrillo and Zivkovic arrived, joining Toto Salvio, Pizzi and Gonçalo Guedes as options for the wings. Rafa (European champion for Portugal and Braga key player) is in the verge of being signed as well for a record fee between portuguese clubs (18M€). No worries there.

Renato is a special player. Harder to replace, as not many players can make a 4-4-2 work. I believe we hit the jackpot with André Horta (another youth product) but is too soon to tell. Danilo (Valência) also arrived.

Regarding Porto. Roma had a player sent off at the 40' in Dragão and two players sent off (39' and 50') in Rome. Porto played 61' against 10 men and 40' against 9 men over both legs. Not many conclusions can be taken from both games as they took place in unusual circumstances, but Porto will surely dispute the league this year.
Sporting are a threat to the title as well, with Jorge Jesus, although they can be a very good opponent for Celtic, considering Jesus miserable record in the CL. Can see you taking points from them.

IMO every portuguese team would be a good option for your chances.

So happy! Don't mind who we get. Real Madrid would be awesome though. Barca, as always, would be perfect.
