Of course I trust Brendan 100 percent, and the impact in such a short space of time has been astounding. It truly has.

That said, I really hope that he plays the kids this weekend against Saints.

We have to wrap the ones that took part in that epic game last night in cotton wool! This is no time for looking to preserve a winning start domestically! With all respect to Saints, this is a meaningless game. We have many more games to make up the 3 points we might lose with a gamble, than the one game we have to define our season.

Step forward Armstrong, Cifti, Christie, et al

Have a wee seat, our first team warriors!

I'm certain Rodgers will make use of squad rotation, but I want to win against St.Johnstone. The league is our main priority in my opinion.

Whilst I agree league is long term main priority, the short term priority is on Tuesday night. Needs must. I won't blink an eyelid if we lose because BR picks a weaker team. We need to be all guns blazing with players rested for Tuesday. I am almost certain it will happen, and hope it does.

Like I said, Rodgers will more than likely use squad rotation. :50:

Wouldn't go too far with changes. We don't want to be giving the huns any encouragement at this early stage.

I think with Armstrong cifti christie Henderson playing we should still be expected to beat them. That's a strong SPL team

We have plenty of options without playing the kids. We want to be resting players we will need 100% over there. I would rest tierney and sinclair and bring in Roberts and izzy. Possibly leave griff on the bench for cifti. Brown for Biton and Toure for Erik. That still leaves us with a team who should win well on Saturday.

With the amount of honest mistakes already, trust me every win will be vital.

    De Vries has to start.

    As does Dembele.

One of ronny biggest failings for me was he didn't use or rest enough players,we are strong enough and good enough in the league we can afford to lose a game or 2 playing the kids while we save our best and strongest team to get into the groups.
Rest griff and brown and sinclair and lustig and even forrest....that alone would be a huge help on tues.

Guys like Bitton & Sviatchenko need game time anyway so I expect them to play 60mins add in Izzy, Janko, Ambrose/Efe we should have an experienced back line. Going forward Henderson, Christie, Armstrong & Ciftci will be raring to go & should have more than enough to cause St.Johnstone problems. So I wouldn't say play the youngsters but more use our squad.

I'd start Gordon, Toure, O'Connell, Brown, Sinclair and Griffiths, for sure. Let's keep the spine of our team playing. If any of them are struggling, we can replace them.

I'd throw in players like Janko, Izzy, Armstrong, Johansen etc.

    Still a very strong team.

Losing isn't ideal as it takes away momentum but yes I agree we should be playing the guys who are SPL level (Christie, Armstrong, MacGregor, Izzy).

Not sure about Ciftci, I'd maybe start Moussa if we're gonna have Griff up top on his own on Tuesday.
