    Just back from voting.

SNP for both. I get the feeling it won't be as big a majority as expected though.

Good. Hopefully the independence campaign buzz is wearing off people now, and they realise that we're not voting for independence.

It won't be as big a landslide as last time...they'll still win by a considerable amount though.

SNP,few New Labour and a couple of Thatcherite *.

When the woman was giving me my papers she tried to explain it by saying that one was for an MSP and one is a regional one for a party and she goes "this ones for the SNP and that's the regional one" and quickly corrected herself. :fear:

Just been down earlier and voted. Pondered over the second paper for awhile in the booth, went with my heart and mind. It's a selfish vote as I want something from it all, but then that is what we all vote for, and what a lot of the older generation done 18 months ago to screw us over in the first place.

After all my * tap dancing around the subject, all my thinking, I go down and it turns out and not on the register. :smiley-laughing002:Been living at the same address for 12 years. Just stood there like a plank with some quizzical look on my face like someone has just handed me a Rubiks Cube. Raging.

We won't. It's not happening in this Parliament, not a chance.

Aye shambles. You had to re-register across the U.K. It has caught many people out.

Was on polling station duty 1st thing this morning then some work and back afternoon and have now got the graveyard shift as well which mainly involves giving people a lift to the polling station, hopefully it will be worth it come tomorrow.

It'll be an SNP landslide for sure, but hopefully if they pull in less votes than before they'll actually see that they can't just coast by on the "vote for us and you may get another independence referendum sometime, eventually, maybe, at some point...." chat.

vote SNP on the constituency and SNP on the list unless Greens stand a very very good chance. RISE and Solidarity is a total wasted vote for 1% parties and will help yoons. The nightmare alternative apathy, vote spoiling, not voting on list, hissy fits over fitba issues etc is a UNIONIST GRAND COALITION of Lab-Tory-Libs and indyref2 totally off limits till 2021. So vote on the big picture not wee issues.

Think the more sensible folk know what all that was about to be honest. They knew they could just keep shouting for IndyRef2, they had to try and persuade the folk sitting on the fence about it all, that they want to do other things as well. But that IndyRef2 is a possibility.
For the rest of us, we know fine well what it will take to get it, and that the SNP will give it to us when we demand it again.

No offence to folk who voted, but ones that want an IndyRef2 and decided to vote for people like RISE are kinda wasting that vote. RISE aren't going to do much, but those few votes could be the difference in some areas between a SNP (and an INdy party) and someone like the Lib dems (dont laugh) sneaking a seat or three.

Sticking to my guns this time and not voting.

I didn't have to re-register. My polling card came through as normal.

remember the legal president is SNP have to have over 50% of the MSPs to allow even the option of calling the 2nd independence referendum in this Holyrood term. With Brexit possibly creating a unique chance to trigger a 2nd independence referendum IMAGINE we dont have the right to call it because SNP dont have 50%+ of MSPs. It could blow the best chance we ever have.

Also YOU DONT NEED A POLLING CARD. If you dont have one just go down and give your details and vote.

Not voting or refusing to vote SNP on list over minor issues could blow the best chance of independence Scotland will have in next few years.
