4 of them will be dropped, i'd drop Schweisteiger who looks finished although I think hes their captain. Hummels should be captain. Podolski shouldnt go either.

Other 2 are tough as Bellarabi offers something different to their other wide players, Schurrle has been a good goalscorer and could come off the bench if they need goals. Sane and Brandt probably wont get a game so most likely it will be them but if they took those two instead of Schurrle and Podolski then it would give them good experience without really damaging Germanys chances of winning it as they are quality players.

Suprised they never picked another left-back too, Schmelzer had a good season. Mustafi, Howedes, Can and Rudy can all play right-back but not really left-back only Hector, Howedes will probably be the back up but im sure hes right-footed.

I think he'll probably drop Draxler, Sane, Brandt and Podolski.

Would have left out Azpilicueta and Mikel San Jose and took Javi Martinez and Bernat.

Does De Gea start for them now?

    De Gea
    Juanfran Pique Ramos Alba
    Busquets
    Koke Thiago Iniesta
    Silva
    Morata

I don't see Brandt making it. Draxler featured even when he was struggling at Wolfsburg, so Loew sees something in him.

I think Howedes might be the exclusion. Kimmich has shown versatility with Bayern which could prove handy, even suggestions of him playing at right-back.

I like Wiegl but feel he might well miss out. If he were to go, then you are probably looking at one of the senior midfield members not going. Don't see him Ditching that amount of experience.

Forgot about Bernat, they have some squad. Hope Aduriz makes the main one.

Kevin Trapp as well. Frightening the quality of goalie they have.

    Forgot about Trapp, christ almighty.

Then you have Timo Horn and Thomas Kraft, both good goalies in their own right.

Should have added Klose too. Löw actually pointed out Podolski's role off the pitch. Doubt he'll feature much on the field.

Just checked there, didn't realise Podolski is only 30. 127 caps for Germany!
