You can only beat what is infront of you.

And in that respect Mayweather gave a masterclass in his style of boxing.

Just saw your above post and looked a bit like I was targeting it - I wasn't.

If by his style you mean counterpunching then I don't think it was a masterclass at all. Not anywhere close to vintage floyd. It was more spoiler than pure counter punching.

Just re-watched the fight sober. How the * did Mayweather get away with all his *. Non stop hugging, sly digs - repeatedly and headlocks? The ref was very kind to him. Lucky boy.

Dunno what Pac was all about, I thought he should have just started rapid and throw punches silly, as the commentators were saying -you have to give the judges something and give an 'appearance'. He should have risked it and went for a ko, he nearly had him. Mayweather doesn't have that power in his locker.

Was boring though. Pacman has been really strange leading up to it, maybe its just his humble self but he wasn't acting like this was a big deal - when it * was!

Head elsewhere? He didn't look right at all.

He nearly postponed the fight due to a shoulder injury.

Didn't look it right enough I think the majority of the blame for his performance goes to Roach. If he spent 5 years compiling a game plan for Mayweather it was * useless. Pac's main weapon is rapid volume of punches and he rarely showed that last night.

a lot of you boys are a lot more savy with the boxing than me, but I gotta agree, it wasn't even a fight, or looked like it was ever going to be one.

Manny was visibly less aggressive than usual. A few times he had the opportunity to really go at Mayweather but he looked scared. I think he was worried he would get KO'd like before and didn't want to risk it.

Watching it back it seems like the fight was a bit closer than first thought. Mayweather got away with a lot of * too. Pac wasn't hurt AT ALL at the end of the fight, he looked bemused as if to say did this guy really beat me without landing a single blow? He clearly * up his preparation for this fight. Roach is clueless now.

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
    * fight, they should fought years ago, back in the day many great and good fighters fought each in their prime and had rematchs................

Having said that an aggressive rematch here could see a much better fight!
