To be honest anyone who hasn't been won over by Ronny by now are just one of these people who love to wallow in their own misery.

Never doubted him. Might've been a little different if the board backed him and we still got tanked in the CL, but any manager worth their salt needs time to get their actions into place.

It was always going to take him a good few months in order to get the players used to playing the style of attractive, attacking football that he enjoys so much.

Under Lennon, our players got used to sitting back in Europe, hitting on the counter and then just trying to see games out if we got lucky. Deila has an entirely different philosophy on how a club such as ourselves should be playing, but it was never going to happen overnight.

We are seeing it in full swing now and are reaping the rewards as a result. When was the last time we were in serious contention for FOUR trophies towards the end of February?

The new signings have also made their mark extremely quickly, which has been brilliant to see. I love that Deila feels as though we should be signing and nourishing homegrown talent, getting them experience in European football and then possibly selling them on for a massive profit.

You would be hard pushed to name a player that has made more of an impact on his home debut than Armstrong. Is there one?

He didn't need to win me over.

This tie does not define Ronny Deila's first season as Celtic manager, domestically he is on course to serve us very well and that is what matters first and foremost.

I was never going to hound him even if we lost tonight.

Best footballing side since Tommy Burns' side. We are progressive and modern in our approach. Excellent to watch.

That's the biggest thing, he plays a modern game and it's just what the doctor ordered for a Celtic that had dare-I-say grown stale under NL.

Tonight was the best attacking football I've seen Celtic play in Europe, period. It was a shame about the defensive lapses. I've always backed Ronnie and I think everyone had their doubts after the qualifiers but I think he's on to something special here. 6 months ago the players couldn't adapt to his system because they weren't in peak physical condition, tonight I'd argue we outplayed Inter 80 percent of the game, were constantly pressing and were really unlucky in the goals we conceded. Lets * go for it over in Milan and really give them a fight. Regardless of the result over there I'm pleased with how far the team has progressed and the football being played :celt_2:

I might be a bit premature saying this after this one game but whereas NL and WGS got us big results in Europe it looks like RD will be able to give us this with the added bonus of a game to enjoy.

He won me over the moment he arrived on "The Celtic Way" riding his enchanted unicorn spouting his mystical footballing ideals.

I could barely contain my erection.

Ba ked him from the beginning. Some questionable decisions in games, but stood by him. Everyone's on a high right now but you will still get the knee * fans showing their faces saying he is a terrible manager if we have a scrappy 1-1 draw in the league

Might well be some teams taking notice of him after last night. The type of manager everyone is looking at just now.

Seems the loyal type though. Hope we follow through with his ideas on building for the future.

Judging by his interviews after last night, the whole experience left a very big mark on him and now he is under no doubt to what Celtic Football Club is all about

Agreed, and Collins was getting pelters as well about his supposed input so some credit and praise in his direction is long overdue as well
