Anyone watching this? Opening game tonight or Australia against Kuwait. Australia and Japan are obviously favourites for the competition

What about Iran, Uzbekistan and South Korea? I remember the Uzbeks having a good qualification campaign for the World Cup, topping their group with Japan.

South Korea are third money favourites and Uzbekistan are 4th then the money blows out. Good to see Australia get up 4-1 last night

Iran topped the group during qualification with 16 points. S.Korea and Uzbekistan finished with 14 points each, with S.Korea heading to the W.C having a goal difference of +6 compared to the Uzbeks +5.

I remember the last day of qualification. South Korea vs Iran and Uzbekistan vs Qatar. If Korea picked up any points against Iran and Uzbekistan won by more than 4 goals, the two of them would advance. Uzbekistan done their part, but Iran managed to win in Korea. What a day that was.

That's surely not a bad result for Palestine? How many players do they have in their selection pool?
