So why is dropping Anthony Stokes madness, but dropping our top goalscorer isn't? Is it just "because Stoksey!" and something about "Guidetti can get tae *"?

    I said Griffiths.

Tell me why you have Griffiths in your team and I'll entertain you further.

Ah but you question my attacking line-up, yet not the one directly above mine which excludes Guidetti? Hmmm...

Faster than Stokes. Could do with pace around Guidetti and Commons.

I never even seen that post.

You * hate Griffiths, with an absolute passion.

So to sum up, you are at it.

    I'm out. *Duncan Bannatyne Pic*

At this point, I'd love to give them a proper hiding but winning, avoiding injuries and avoiding trouble will do me. Wee bit of the heat taken out of the game now that McCoist is away as I've no great ill feeling for McDowell.

The old consipiracy fears are rising. Genuinely wouldn't be surprised at an early, controversial red.

I can see what Murph-E's saying in all honesty. Guidetti is still our top scorer and you could imagine him raising his levels for this game. Then you're left with Commons, Johansen and Stokes behind him which doesn't have much pace so you'd probably throw in Griffiths instead of Stokes to add a bit of pace.

I'd start Stokes myself though, he's the only forward who's been anyway consistent.

I think if you play Guidetti you possibly have to compensate by dropping Commons, could do without two slow players going forward. Personally I'd have Stokes, Johansen, Commons and Griffiths or Stokes Johansen Griffiths and Guidetti. Pace will be pretty key and I think its a great option to have Forrest to come on around 60 minutes to really stretch them.

I wouldnt play either of them, I will be gutted if Stokes is starting because i think he will fail to do anything, except slow us down, we need pace, i am dreading Stokes starting this game, i reckon Sevco will be praying Stokes plays!, please no!

Who would you play in the four attacking positions then?

Lets be honest, we will be playing against a wall of zombies, we need stokes creativeness to pick a pass to get some goals.

:43: What does that say for the rest of the team if Stokes has provided more goals than anyone else this season?

Stokes should be one of the first names on the team sheet.

You have to wonder why people are * on our best players on this week of all weeks...

Maybe they haven't watched us since the last time we played the dead club and are forming their opinion on that...? :43:

Stokes has never really been given a chance in these big games cos Sammy was always ahead of him, hopefully he'll get his chance and continue his good form of late. Hes not been good all season but this past month or so hes been one of our best players.

There is a case to be made that this game might be too big for Stokes, we've seen how he performs in Europe when more is asked of him, he goes hiding too often when we need and always seems to slow down the play. I think it's as much a mental issue as it is anything else, some people just don't have the character. Griffiths does seem like a big game player to me, same with Guidetti, potential Hun Skelpers.

Will pace on the left wing matter ? Their right back Foster is * but one thing he has is pace so I'd rather a genuinely skillful player like Stokes there who can weave inside him.
