    Will anybody be paying it. seen on Saturday 100000 people protesting against it think it's something we can win also think this will be a key for sinn fein if they want to get power come 2016

    Good mate they can't knock it off I was listening to Paul Murphy and he said it's legal to turn the pressure back up ( all though I'm not to sure about that I'd need to check it properly to find out the exact legality of that) because that's all the company can do

    So kind of like the tv licence then most of the msm are saying it's only going to be around 10% who won't but it will be much much higher water is a human right and should be free for every man women and child on the planet

    10% ? ,ive yet to find someone that is paying for them. It will be closer to 35% as there is a lot of people who will pay for him to avoid any hassle at all but quite alot wont pay it as they know they don't have to

    Because there's already massive poverty in Ireland and this will push more people into it no private company has the right to take water

    It would be like our government charging us for how much oxygen we use. Could just imagine Danny Alexander just now telling us we could easily live off two days of oxygen a week :87:

    Apparently it's only bullshit that they can reduce the pressure.
    The meter had an on/off valve not an adjustable one.

    Any idea what sort of price they are looking to charge?
    We are on a private water scheme and have to pay for our water but it doesnt come to any great amount at all.

    For Scotland average Water rate is £334 a year

    For England average Water rate is £388 a year

    For Wales average Water rate is £388 a year

    I pay £33 per month which is about £400 per year.

    It's just a fixed amount based upon the size of your home.

    But you can get a meter from which your charged what you use.

    That's obviously beneficial if your a single person living alone and you'd end up paying less than the nominal fee for your house size, but it would be less so if you have kids.
