I had to double check who Wales were playing as the commentators moaned about 50/50 fouls not going there way, slevering over a 100 million player and the rest playing dire and struggling to overcome part timers plucked from division 6 in Spain..
Embarrassing wasn't the word, rid neck you'd think, nope.. fans running on the pitch and players going daft

 

Shocking performance but there's absolutely no way that professional players should be playing on that 3G pitch, better teams than us have gone there and struggled with the same pitch.

I'll reserve judgment on our team until we play on a proper pitch, our next 2 games next month will define our qualification. If we can get 4/6 points at home to Bosnia & Cyprus (especially after the result between those 2 tonight), i'm totally confident we'll qualify.

 

I think Wales are a decent team A.Williams, Davies, Ledley, Allen, Ramsey and Bale are solid EPL level players or better. Probably lack a bit of depth. All of them would get a game for Ireland or Scotland.

They'll need to take points off Belgium and Bosnia though, probably even have to beat both of them which is unlikely so cant see them qualifying unless they get a decent draw in the play-offs if they make it which they should.

 

They do have a decent nucleus but are totally reliant on bale, see that when Scotland went there and had it not been for that howler decision when fletcher scored we'd have been coasting 2 nil..

They won't go through anyway..

 

They'll struggle to qualify imo, Ramsey doesn't seem to bring the form he shows for arsenal so they are totally reliant on bale. He's an unbelievably player so I wouldn't be surprised if he drags them to the playoffs, but I think unless they got a very decent draw they'd struggle. Bosnia getting beat tonight at home to Cyprus was an outstanding result for them though.

I know they beat Scotland twice but that we had Levein then and we could barely overcome Liechtenstein at home

Really? He hasn't played for Wales since last October and before that he had a horrific injury so hasn't really had a run of games for us. Granted he was * tonight (partly due to the pitch), but not sure how you can say he doesn't bring his Arsenal form to Wales.

 

Just whenever I've seen him for Wales he just doesn't seem to be as effective. He's a world class player imo, but bale totally carries that Wales team. His injury was what 5 seasons ago? He played all of the World Cup qualifying campaign did he not? I can't remember him playing that well when I watched him. The past 18 months of his club career he's been outstanding.
