He obviously made a few outstanding signings (Forster, Hooper, Wanyama, Ledley, Wilson, van Dijk, Lustig - all right, more than a few). He signed Johansen, Bitton and Griffiths as well, and he has to get credit for them even though they've been far better players under Deila.

But a "myth" that we wasted millions on awful players under Lennon? Come on. I'm not trying to take away from the fact that he made plenty of good signings, but you cannot possibly deny that many were dreadful.

Also, there's no way we spent more money last summer than we did in summer 2013. We only made 2 permanent signings, and one was a free transfer. The loan fees would have to be insanely massive to result in them costing more than Pukki, Balde, van Dijk and Boerrigter combined (did we sign anyone else that summer? I really can't remember).

There was some awful ones but his signings have sold for the most in our history, he was expected to find cheap gems, obviously that wouldn't work everytime.

Forster and Wanyama alone being sold makes up the money that Lenny spent on players.

Came a long way since the beggining haha!

Was * raging at Ronny for the teams he put out against Legia and Maribor, I think we'll do fine now!
