Has anyone tried Griezmann? Didn't really like him on the last one but I could do with an improvement on Muniain and I didn't really like Pedro.

 

If you cant beat them join them or play seasons.

 

Griezmann is pretty good. Wasn't a fan of him in 14 either but he's a step above Muniain in this.

Decided to keep Rodrigo as he does create loads of chances for himself, even if I miss most of them. Just can't finish with him for some reason.

I'll buy Griezmann, then Claudio Bravo and Vela, then see if Carvajal is better than Joao Pereira.......then just use my coins for trading. Quite happy with my teams now.

Gonna wait until the prices have dropped then try and get Remy and Benzema.

Coloccini is probably my best player. The guy's an animal. He's basically a slightly slower Fifa 14 David Luiz.

The regens are to good. Im in the 2018/19 season and i already have 2 young scots that will be as good as messi/ronaldo. My CAM is 16 years old with an overall at 76 already.

I agree about having more control. In 14 if you had a good handle on it, it was pretty simple to let the defence do much of the work for you and become almost impenetrable.

Now you have to do quite a bit of the work yourself or you will get unpicked fairly easily. Much better.

The shooting too has much more chance of going awry unless you really work at picking the spot. I like the fact that you can score goals when you are directly facing the net, in 14 you had to work in from an angle but football doesn't work that way.

Yes, you can hammer a shot straight past a goalie but, again, that happens in real life too.

Using pace to just smash into players would win you possession in 14 but in 15 you are probably going to concede a foul and start picking up yellows.

My only gripe so far is its still easy to flip from uber-defence to dangerous attack with one or two longish passes and that the ground through ball is probably a bit too OP.

But apart from that, it's clearly the best FIFA yet. Going to give Div 5 a go tonight and see how I get on.

This is purely seasons mode btw.

I cant defend for *, i admit i am too used to legacy defending as i have struggled with tactical since it was introduced. I am using only tactical this one though and playing on world class in career mode just now to try and get used to it.

 

I've properly started on Ultimate Team, now. Built a cheap Russian squad that has served me well so far. Into Division 8 and the record stands at 10-1-1.

There are some really good players available on the cheap. Kerzhakov, Shirokov, Kasaev etc are all pretty capable. I've now added Akinfeev, Garay, Criscito & Douglas to give the defence a stronger look.

I've got the hang of the defending now, and I'm creating a lot of chances but still missing plenty.

Guys like Kerzahov, Kasaev, Dzagoev & Shirokov are bargains. Few players still on my wishlist. Danny, Witsel and Valbuena are the main ones.

I bought Maicon thinking his pace (93) would be useful at the end of games on the counter, but his technique is horrible. Just shows pace isn't everything.

 

Had one of those fantastic 11 shots on target 0 goals games with the AI having 1 on target and 1 goal. The level of rage this game can cause is unreal.

 

Had a record of something like 40-5-10 in UT.

Just went on a winless streak of 7 but just managed to stay in division 5 by winning my last game.

It's like I've forgot how to play this

A big up ye to the guy who had Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar - last minute sweat never felt sooo good

 

Just played some guy who epitomised all that is wrong with FUT.

He had a decent looking Bundesliga side, and a quality midfield. Schweinsteiger, Gundogan, Bender and Gotze. Looked like a perfect mix of silk & steel.

But he has Doumbia and Musa up front. So what does he do? Chip through ball and sprint. Every. Single. Time. I'm all for differing styles in FIFA, but this was ridiculous. He bypassed a quality midfield in favor of these 'tactics'.

Shouldn't be too annoyed, I won 6-2. But I have a Russian team. I'm making do with Kerhakov & Rondon, as I feel I can't morally buy Musa or Doumbia now

 

Is ultimate team gone back to being solely about pace like 13? Im still on 14, got back into seasons i forgot how could it was.
