If that's the case, part of the rules is proper administration of your affairs. You can't just be blase. It's someones job to ensure a simple instruction and rule is followed.

Well they did put up a better fight than us in the first leg.

 

Rules are there to be questioned IMO. The sensible ones should be obeyed, the unjust ones fought and the * stupid ones changed to reflect common sense.

This is clearly the 3rd case IMO.
